I'm going to guess anyone who got the 5 free with the 100 top up won't be eligible for this, I'm not anyway.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,710 ✭✭✭✭Skerries

could be also if we got the free £10 when signing up for Prime

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,318 ✭✭✭dan786

I availed of the top up 100 and get 5 offer and the 60 to get 3 few days ago and still was able to get this.

So its nothing to do with above.

I got that free tenner and still qualified for this £7 offer. I didn't get the £5 free with £100 though. Anyone get all 3?

How do you know if you're eligible? I logged in using the link provided, but don't see anything other than standard gift cards for purchase, I have a feeling I'm not eligible! Do you have to receive an email alerting you to the offer in the first instance?

Amazon have an offer running that if you buy a 30£ gift card , a 7£ promo would be applied to your account after 24 hours. I tried it yesterday and just received an email to say my promo was applied.

Note: This is a 7£ promo which will show on check out page and not in your giftcard balance.

Also this is only valid on items Sold and Dispatched by Amazon.

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/b?ie=UTF8&node=11301518031&ref=gc_seppromo_b30g7_gwbb&pf_rd_r=9KR3SGNN31GA1C50EHDJ&pf_rd_p=72ae44ad-a642-4bc8-b0bc-fdff3cb0f0e3

Just click the link, click on qualify for offer and after 24 hours it will be applied to your account.

As I said it appears when you checkout.

Thanks OP, cancelled my order there from earlier today to get this.

Nope... I didn't receive the mail and qualified.

I have 4 accounts. 2 didn't qualify (possibly because I had signed up to them to get the €10-off Audible deal and the Fire TV stick after signing up to Prime).

If you get the £7 off it seems you have to spend £30 for that £7 discount to kick in.

Just worked for me, I never bought a gift card before so not sure why I was eligible for the credit.

    Anyway, nice find op :)

I think the fact you never bought a gift card before is the reason you were elligible

That is not correct. I got the top up 60 to get 3 and also top up 100 to get 5 offers last week and also qualified for this offer.

Can I use the Gift card + promo as a part payment or do I use the Gift card OR credit card?

I have an order for £100 that I'd like to make, should I buy a £93 gift card? Or £30 gift card and pay the balance on credit card?

I used both - but the promo comes some time after you buy the card - mine came in less than a day

ya that's no prob, I can hold off completing the order till then.

So I'll just get the £30 gift card and then pay balance on credit card.

Just going to get this now, so you need to send the Gift Card to an email address that is not your amazon account email?

Or can I just go to the "Top Up Your Account" section and still avail of this?

You just click on avail offer and then if it says you qualify then just top up 30 into your own account.

You do not need to send a giftcard to anyone.

Hmm still not showing the extra £7 yet when I go to checkout, despite adding the Gift Card at 5pm yesterday.

I'll wait till 12pm and if not added by then I'll give support a shout.

It's 24 hours/48 hours. Drop them a line after 5 if its not there.

I got an email roughly 24 hours after buying the gift card to let me know the 7 pound voucher was available to use.

Also it must be used on an item from Amazon direct otherwise the 7 pound voucher doesn't show at checkout.
