Do you think people will ever stop going on about his barnet?

No, it'll be a hot topic I'm sure for the next 4 years. I'm sure there'll be imitators at crufts.

    Have you had breakfast yet?

No, just a tea and a coffee from the vendor at the train station.

Do you tend to wear dark colours or bright colours?

I tend to wear darker solid colours usually. You won't find me wearing any obvious brands or clothes with slogans like 'Oregon State University' or other such nonsense.

Are converse style runners ever out of fashion?

Probably not. They are on the banned list of footwear where I work.

Do you tend to wear the same few outfits each week or not be seen wearing the same outfit twice in a month?

Twice in a month? I can hardly remember what I had on yesterday so I doubt very much anyone would notice if I wore the same thing twice in a month. I work in an office mostly so I have 2-3 pairs of jeans and about 5-6 shirts and a couple of pairs of shoes that are my uniform so to speak.

Have you worked anywhere with a dress down Friday policy?

No, but I've never worked anywhere with a dress policy other than neat and tidy.

I m finished for the week now, how are you fixed?

    Pretty similar.

Did you watch the Trump inauguration this evening?

I did, I watched it all.

    Did you?

Just catching highlights of it now. It reminds me of when I was there during Bush's inauguration with all the pro-lifers and pro-choicers clashing and sparring off each other.

Have your views on certain issues changed over the years from when you were younger?

They have. I've become more moderate than left and in some cases closer to the right. In my early twenties I would have been a definite "bleeding heart liberal", now I'm "lock 'em up and throw away the key". Five years ago I would have voted for Clinton in a heartbeat. Today neither her or Trump would have received my vote.

    Yourself?

They're a hardy enough bunch, I can't think of any who'd take an easy sick day.

How far are you away from retirement?

I'll be there forever if they keep moving the goalposts in relation to retirement.

    How about you?

About 30 years unless I rob a bank.

If you robbed a bank would you go in screaming bloody murder or stay all nice and calm?

Best to keep a cold mind and keep the head when all about you are losing theirs.

Would you make a good getaway driver?

I'd probably panic and drive off before you were out with the loot.

Do you have anything on the long finger?

No. I might put it up for something every now and again though.

Ever had a problem you just couldn't put your finger on.
