As great as a winwpuld be, I just hope he gets 4 rounds without a collapse in there. That would do him a world of good (armchair psychologist here). Get the top 10 be lovely.

The early scoring looks good so he may have to shoot a minimum of 67 to get a top 10

Great up and down for par from the bunker on the 1st hole after a bad drive and bad second shot. Hopefully a good settler for him.

Seamus just sank a 27 foot birdie putt on the par 5 7th to get to -2 for his round. He’s 2 behind the leaders now but the leaderboard is ridiculously congested.

Great going so far and he still has a chance of winning this thing if he putts together a good back 9.

9 holes to play, and still 2 back.

Would probably need to shoot 31 on the back none to have any chance of winning but even a couple under would give him a nice big wedge of points and $$$$$

If he could post -16 under he has a chance! He’s well capable of going -4 on the back nine too!

I’d love if he did but hoping that none of the 14 ahead of him will beat -16 is probably a bit too much. It’d make for a strong finish and a good cheque though.

Birdie on 10. If he can get in another -2 from here surely he should be top 10.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,751 ✭✭✭Motivator

-13 now, still 2 shots back but a great start to the back 9. Sank a 22 footer for birdie on 10. He’s flying it, come on Seamus you can do it.

Big par save on 11, strong finish and you never know

Cmon Seamus! Show everybody you can finish strongly when contending.

He’s showing a lot of consistency from week to week.

Ive never seen a field as bunched.

One birdie or bogey either way is going to have a big impact on your cheque

Good up and down for par on 12

I said he’d take -15 and hopefully he’d get a lump of fedex points

  • Registered Users Posts: 305 ✭✭Scrabbel

I think if he could get to -15 that would be an excellent finish.

Hopefully stays going now and doesn't blow up.

It certainly would. It's probably what he needs for top ten.

Looks to have gone in the water on 14. Hopefully still save par but needs birdies not pars for something decent

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,314 ✭✭✭✭fullstop

Another birdie. Looks like he got away with one on the 2nd shot.

  • Registered Users Posts: 305 ✭✭Scrabbel

Brilluant! Saw on shot tracker he’d taken a drop near 14th green but turned out to be a free drop. Got down in 2 for -14.

Up to T-6 now with four holes to play.

If he could just finish out the round without a big mistake it would be a good weeks work.

PGA app says he birdied 14th. 14 under

Wish they would show him on the TV coverage

  • Registered Users Posts: 11 Aoidondoi

T6 as it stands, win is a bit of a stretch but T5 would be excellent result

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,233 ✭✭✭munster87

So close to a birdie again on the par 3. Unlucky

They did just there, first time I've seen him shown all week.

Tap in for par there on 15.

Just saw his chip on the par 5, left himself some work. Least he got it
