Those Donncha O'Callaghan adverts for UNICEF….

I like Donnacha and I imagine he's a pretty sound guy, but those adverts he does for UNICEF, I find them hard to listen to. He overdoes the acting a bit and they're beginning to grate with me at this stage.

Saw the An Post tinman and Dunnes with the children making sure Santy sees them, both of which are at least 4 years old, most companies used to have a new ad every year, seems they can't be arsed anymore.

An Post would do well to stop raising the price of stamps to pay for rubbish adverts. We all know the days of letter writing and Christmas cards are more or less gone....but when its prohibitively costly as well.… then really its sayonara baby!! 👋

An Post makes most its money delivering parcels for Amazon and Shein etc. anyway I imagine.

Not an a specific ad, but it seems every new christmas ad this year has stolen their jingle from the Love Actually sound track.

    An Post

Considering it is the only post delivery organisation in the country aside from getting a courier, An Post advertising, makes as much sense as RTE advertising for RTE while you are watching or listening to the same programme on RTE.

For my immediate family I am rejuvenating the christmas card tradition. But thats just me.
