In all honesty if Clancy and his two assistants togged out for Connacht they still would not be worth the win.... Some questionable officialdom but did not excuse by any means such a poor Connacht performance..

Connacht's handling has been laughably bad tonight! Tonights performance was worse than the first 2 maulings, the only difference was the first 2 teams where good.

Thought Clancy was fine. Scarlets were far better overall, their own lack of cutting edge and probably the weather kept the score tight.

Two poor teams, in poor conditions with poor officiating. That may be one of the worst games of rugby I watch all season.

True, compare that to the game in Glasgow last night played in similar conditions..... Now that was a game

That was depressing from Connacht tonight. And they are at the bottom of the table - nul points. Right Pat Lam, you have a big challenge here.

Are we dropping the Pat Lam for Ireland then or what?

On the positive side, look who Connacht have lost to. Not exactly bottom feeders.

Now Edinburgh at home next week is a must win. They're useless. Connacht have to put the best foot forward in Europe so the home bankers in the league need to be won.

Scarlets were terrible yet Connacht were worse. The team haven't improved much, they look competitive only because the level of opposition was worse than Glasgow and Ospreys.

Confidence for Edinburgh will be rock bottom.

We don't make penalties count because of the kicking problem.
Yet when Scarlets did the same, missing was it 9 or 11 points in the first half, we still missed that penalty. A mile wide.
It changed the end of the game from
a single score match to a two score match. Psychologically that's massive coming into the last 5 mins.

We should have a whip round to pay out boshoffs contract and get him over during the week!

Have Connacht been the worst team in the league so far this season? You'd have to say yes. Even Zebre were decent today despite losing and would have beaten Connacht last week only for the thunderstorm.

I only saw the second half but I don't think you can blame the ref for that one.

How many Connacht lineouts ended up with Lanelli getting the ball for example.

I also think Lanelli played a smart defensive game against Conn too. A rush or fast attacking defence really negates the way Conn play, how many times did we see man and ball tackles from the Lanelli defence?

It has to be said in that weather today an open passing attacking game is going to struggle.

Dragons push them close to be fair, Edinburgh have also been brutal but at least they had a little bit of fight in them vs Leinster and Munster and of course beat Scarlets.

On current form Connacht won't win a game this season. Hard to win when you can't score, can't defend and definitely canr't kick. Is Carty in a personal competition with himself to see how much wider he can kick the next penalty than the previous one?
