    The pass could've been forward, but the dropped ball definitely wasn't. Strange call from the referee.

    To be fair, the officials effectively agreed with him. They said just a penalty, but card for repeat infringement. His argument that this penalty wasnt of the same nature as a deliberate action has merit and so the card for repeat offence has some logic. At worst debatable.
