€1.99 for 5 bananas seems a bit high? ALDI/LIDL are about €1.37 for 6, maybe 49c or 79c during specials?

For online orders, if you add bananas it estimates them at 22c each

The 5 pack bananas for €1 are very small, weighted them yesterday when doing the shop as usually buy a good few. Same 5 pack by weight would have cost €0.75 as only 600g.
    Bought 2.45kg @ €1.25/kg for €3.07

Packed/bagged bananas are always more expensive than selecting your own and bagging them, it’s to take advantage of lazy people that just grab a bag.

    The internet isn’t for everyone

Or you could be zero waste and skip the bag

Grrhhh! I bought 4 boxes of Butlers in Tesco on thursday in Clonmel at €8 each I think as thank-you's for the nurses in CUH so they must have reduced them after I walked out the door! (if it's nationwide). Now they'll think I'm a cheapskate! :))

Obviously because of the shortage of flour and the price of wheat. Most people don't realise that little to no flour milling takes place in the Republic of Ireland. Nearly all flour used in Ireland is imported from the UK.

There’s no shortage of flour but shortage of packing capability, odlums are working 24/7 in portarlington

There are 3 major millers in Ireland

Whoever mills for Aldi and Lidl are obviously putting them second.

Odlums at €2.99 for 2 kg has been available most places when I’ve been in but no own brand at all.

My tesco had dates on some of the flour SELs, I think the own brand tesco was due in on 30th april.

i think the poster was referring to the flour used for the loaves of bread on our shelves rather than the flour for consumers, when brexit was announced there was a news article saying that 98 per cent of the flour used for bread production here is imported from the UK

Are Tesco still accepting other shop vouchers (Dunnes) or they've stopped doing that a long time now??

I’ve started doing some online shopping with Tesco - do the email spend and save offers or 10% out customer like Super Valu? Or do Tesco just not do discounts?
