Roll up folks, here we have the signup thread for Werewolf 3 - Westeros Edition. In this game, myself and Jayop are the mods, and we will be putting a Game of Thrones themed spin on it.

Note that there will possibly be spoilers from the show here, but its mainly flavour so you're probably okay. For anyone who doesn't watch Game of Thrones, sort your life out. You'll be able to play fine regardless but some of the references will go over your head.

Instead of hogging up the Tabletop Forum (Sorry guys), we're going to use a backroom set up by the lovely Maximus Alexander.

Now then, onto the important stuff, the victims players. Our current list is

I'm a pretty great guy, so found a bunch of new roles on google. I have like 21 roles now so we may have to cherrypick which ones to include, we do have one called The Martyr which I'm saving for Shatterproof.

I'm not sure if the game is being played here or we're doing the whole lot on Max's site but we'll let you all know in plenty of time.

The game is beginning on Sunday, with entires closing Friday to ensure we have enough time to rig The_Valeyard into being a wolf.

So just leave us a small comment here telling me I'm lovely if you want to play and you'll be added to the hit list. I personally don't care about the size of the game but if we end up capping it the last players signed up will be cut so get your name in soon.

Rules and roles and stuff to be decided during the week.

My 2c - I think it'd be better off here as most of us will probably be browsing Boards.ie anyway so it makes it easier to get to. Also, it'll probably be easier for those spectating to watch from Boards.ie.

That's just my opinion and I'm more than happy to go along with Max's site if that's what the majority want.

Secondly, I know absolutely nothing about Game of Thrones. I tried to get into it but I just couldn't.

Tomorrow seems a bit soon, especially if we've only 18 signed up so far. I'd recommend, based on the last two games, that you have a few subs on stand-by too - subs without access to the dead chats, so they can step in should the need arise (standard drop-out time seems to be after about Day 3).

All of the GoT references will go over my head. But I'll still play like. I will just need a few reminders for who the baddies are (aside from Vale, obviously).

The theme isn't important for game play, just for fun.

I have only a moderate feel for GoT (tv but not books) so i expect ill innocently throw in some show off quote associated with white walkers or something and then find myself up for lynching quick sharp

I'll just think of the bad guys as wolves in my own head so

well they are assassins i suppose. i wonder is there any way to incorporate their changing appearance? ie: changing peoples role in game, but thats probably too complicated.

Yeah I think it makes more sense to leave the game thread here for a number of reasons. The intention of the other site was not to steal traffic from Boards! Any private rooms and the dead chat will go over there.

Haha - I questioned whether or not that could be considered a 'misspelling' for the Alpha task in the last game. WWGM was having none of it :pac:
