    b) Is Walcott actually becoming a decent FF prospect again and will he keep his place when Giroud is back fit?

If i make the move now i can afford this team with 0 left in the bank!

I'd avoid Walcott personally. We have Sanchez, Walcott, Iwobi, Ramsey, Ox all competing for places on the wing if Giroud or Perez start up top. Sanchez will start >90% of matches so that doesn't leave much wiggle room for Theo. Iwobi was MOTM yesterday and Ramsey is one of Wenger's favorites.

Fletcher is close to a drop btw

Am going to get rid of either Barkley or Lamela for Antonio before he rises tonight.

Which looks better to drop?...have no other Everton players but have Walker at Spurs.Lamela seems to have got limited minutes in last two league games.

    Thanks for any thoughts.

I'd get rid of Lamela since Barkley is more nailed, has better fixtures, and has good stats

Made my changes as it looks like Hazard will drop again tonight, if not tomorrow, and Ibra dropping quickly. 2 FTs so -8 for it.

    Ibra - Aguero
    Hazard - Snodgrass
    Diomande - Lukaku
    Bellerin - Holebas

Think I'm gonna absorb price changes and evaluate on Friday. Think it's too early to make transfers as I'm not 100% if its gonna be Costa or Ibra out for Aguero or whether to sell Haz

I need another couple of days to think things through myself and ideally will wait till after the midweek games. I think its a very big decision facing us re aguero and a lot of people are now doing things they hadnt considered doing before the gw started.

Completely forgot about mid week games. Have a solid WC squad thought up anyways for when the time comes...one without Ibra too. Hopefully it'll work out in my favour. My only real hassle is trying to fit in KDB

Things don't look great right now at United but they play Stoke at OT GW7 and things look even worse at Stoke.

I'm tempted to let Ibra go as I fear no Aguero vs Swans a LOT, but after that I'd big time fear no Ibra vs Stoke. Could get Sterling in for Swans game but he, like kdb seem to score more when Aguero out

Rashford could be starting vs Stoke and could be an alternative by then.

I think chopping and changing these key positions based on quite short term thinking re form and fixtures will be necessary.

I agree its going to be a case of moving in and moving out of big hitters something we haven't had to contend with in recent years.

Yeah, any number of the big guys could score. It's very difficult to sort the chalk from the cheese with so many scoring freely! There's legitimately (at least) 15 good solid options to fill the front 7. It could get very difficult choosing who to go with!

No team looking solid defensively and I've downgraded my defence accordingly (wildcard this week) so I can have 1 more big hitter in midfield.

I had a plan of doing following transfers:

Lamela to Snodgrass, Negredo to Aguero.

0.1 short to do this unfortunately :(

Would have Kun, Ibra and Lukaku up front with Hazard, Sterling, Antonio, Capoue and Snodgrass.

Since Snodgrass would be rotated with Capoue anyway, I might just get 4.5 mid instead and play Capoue every week.

I would also have extra funds to fix my defence next week (Holgate and Holding still there).

That's precisely why I had planned my WC for this very week (and it had the bonus of the double Friday for team value sake).
Agüero back has always been a huge and key decision in the past seasons ('cause he takes so much cash and this year we have less to play with with all the big guns performing).

Heard Ibra was nonchalantly walking on the pitch today. I know it's his "style" () but could it piss Mourinho right off such that he'd favour young Rashford?

The thing with Zlatan is with Stoke current form he could bang 4-5 goals against them. He's a normally a beast against the weak sides (he did it countless times in France).
I agree its going to be a case of moving in and moving out of big hitters something we haven't had to contend with in recent years.
It may prove difficult though financially cause we'd keep losing £0.1m after £0.1m from moving them in and out (unless you do it following their price change trends which'd make no sense bar obvious reasons like Agüero currently) and/or would have to plan for a, let's say, £97m team (compared to the £100m we're used) to allow for such direct swaps.

Yep, that's it. I think I will go with him now, too. Plenty of time in the season to adjust when his dry spell starts.

    Hazard-Negredo out for Aguero-Oriol Romeu.

I'd like to say the fact that Oriol happens to be a native Spanish speaker wasn't a factor in this move but there's no point in lying.

    Mulling over a -8

    Hazard to Firmino
    Benteke to Aguero
    Bolasie to Fletcher
    Valencia to Holebas

Would give me front 7 of

    Sanchez Firmino Antonio Capoue
    Lukaku Ibra Kun

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,245 ✭✭✭✭extra gravy

Selling Ibra for Kun would free up so much cash but don't think I can do it...ahhhhh it's going to be a long week going through all the possibilities.

I'm looking at similar for my Wildcard - with Hazard over Sanchez

Have just enough to do Hazard/Ichinacho to Kun/Carrick for -4 I'm presuming Kun comes straight in for Ichi next week?

Hazard to Carrick is some downgrade

Who are you taking out? A big worry for me would be that you're making 4 transfers and Collins is still making the cut after the 8 goals conceded in 2 games.

Yeah thats a big concern as i have been plotting to get him out, but as bench fodder i think getting Aguero back in is more important.
    I'd be taking:

Sanchez, Cech, Redmond and Defoe out

    for

    Walcott, Fletcher, Foster and Aguero

I was just looking there and i could actually afford to do it by transferring Hazard out and keeping Sanchez but my replacement would have to be one of Snodgrass or Fer.

would give me a team of

    Foster/Jaku

    Baines - Valencia - Koné

    Sanchez - Capoue - Antonio - Snodgrass/Fer

    Aguero - Ibra - Lukaku

    Subs: Amat, Collins, Fletcher

Hmm... when i look at it like that it doesn't look so appealing.

Ugh... minus 12 just seems obscene the more i think of it.
Might just play the sensible game and do:

    Ibra + Hazard OUT

    Aguero + Sterling IN

Wont be able to afford to get Ibra back in with Lukaku as my other premium mid but with a bit of joggling i could get costa. Would mean i could keep Sanchez but i'd have zero UTD attack, although as it stands that might not be the end of the world.

United are not playing well but Ibra has still returned every week
Back to back home games and the second one is against stoke !
I'll keep for those 2 anyway and see how things are then

Two bad GWs in a row so time for action

Aguero, Lukaku, Antonio and Marney in
Costa, Negredo, Ozil and Barkley out

    For a -8.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Ah don't get me wrong Ibra has not let me down yet and I've had him from the start but without taking a massive hit and doing some serious surgery there's no way i can get Aguero into my team at the minute and ideally i'd like to get him in before he goes back up in price.

    Aguero for Iheanacho.

Lamela not starting the last two was a concern but I'd imagine he will start now Kane has wrecked his ankle

Yeah I know, other options are Sanchez/Ichi to Kun/6m or go down the -8 road, or get rid of Ibra or sweat it out for 2 games and get rid of Ibra after Stoke.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,245 ✭✭✭✭extra gravy

Hmm I could do Benteke and Haz to Aguero and Snodgrass for free. But it would leave me with no Pool cover which scares me.

I'd look at another 4.5 mid I reckon marney could lose his place. Defour and Hendrick maybe the 2 cms.
