I turn to another station as soon as I hear her anyway. Why they've employed someone in such a role who can't pronounce standard English words is beyond me. When I remember, I often switch back. I find the "Breakfast" radio period annoying on all stations.

That's right, Tim Kelly quietly left recently.

Loving all the Beatles coverage today on Nova, don't think another Irish station would do the same. Although listening on my internet radio I wish they could go on the national FM band!

What's with the new jingles? It makes Nova look less like a 'rock' station, and more like. . .well, every other station!

Speaking of sports presenters' sons, SPIN 1038 have a mid-morning presenter called Peter Collins, I wonder is he the son of the RTÉ sportscaster and former 2FM DJ of the same name?

dont get me wrong I like her too. when she is chatting to others she is grand its just when she is reading from a script that I get annoyed. first I think something like the news should be read in a neutral accent and she always stretches out the last word in every sentenceeeeeeee

I have never seen what she or any of the other presenters look like. one thing that annoys me about other stations is that whilst listening they allways try direct you to their website or social media. I like the fact that nova just concentrate on the music show on not the face behind it

To me Siobhain seems to be able to pronounce GAA clubs and Gaelic words better than the "learned colleague" that works with Pat Courtnay. I don't sleep well at night and her voice in the morning always puts a smile on my face. There is something about it that is happy. As for stretching out words, she is an Aussie and they are famous for stretchinnnnng out worrrrds

The irony of the station makes me laugh sometimes....that pair in the mornings, they were discussing and slagging off stations (Atlantic 252 was mentioned) years ago playing the same song over and over , and Miller actually said "this just doesnt happen anymore".........ha
Another morning they started going on about Michael Bolton with a track playing in the background, they rambled on so much i'd say they played the whole song...

And for their information...its "Zed" not "Zee"............to quote Bowie..."this is not America..."..;).

First time I heard her, I loved her voice. i thought she sounded hot. And, I still like listening to her. And, she's easy on the eye too, as I thought she would be

John Harte always seems to sound a bit 'jolly' too when reading the news. Well, compared to many other newsreaders. I don't know if he was like that on the other stations that he was on. The name did sound familiar when he started on Nova.
