I would have thought that when Ciara was reading out texts about it before signing off, that's when an 'April Fools' reveal would have happened if it was a joke.

I thought that escalated quickly myself.

I hate so many of the ads on Newstalk that I shout "Alexa, mute" several times a day, so I might miss the "gotcha"!

Regardless of if it's an April fools thing referring to a colleague as pathetic is crossing a line IMO. Totally uncalled for.
