Is there anywhere that offers odds on players making team of the season? Early days obviously but if Benjamin Mendy plays like this all season he'll be a cert. Didn't see anything on oddschecker.

    Basford @ 2.15
    Dundalk - 1 @ 2.20
    Liverpool -1 @ 2.00

    Treble @ 9.80

With a referee who averaged 6 last year, ref in your game averaged 4 and the last four games between them averaged 2/3.

Had a wander into Paddy Powers Manager Sacking market last night. They have Jose at favourite on 5/2 which is just ridiculous that he would be sacked until he at least misses out of top 4 & has a bad Champions League which wont be known till April/May. It might be a mess now but he aint getting sacked anytime soon, dont mind Oct/Nov when we usually see the first managerial casualty.

Anyway Ive a hunch that Huddersfield are going to struggle this year. Last season they started out great and were mid table at Xmas but then in the second half of the season the wheels fell off and they stumbled over the finishing line with 37 points. I dont think theyve improved this season and will struggle again so I reckon David Wagner will be the first to be sacked. So I took odds on him at (what I think is) an astonishing 20/1, they certainly seem good odds in what I believe is a 5 or 6 horse race.

Benitez and Hughes would be favs in my book the geordies love rafa but they play 4 of last year's top 6 in the next 6 games with only one point on the board they could struggle to pick up much more by October and they could grow impatient. And Hughes is just a hunch really they haven't looked great so far and Southampton have found some decent foreign managers in recent years another one may arise.
Fwiw I don't think mourinho will see Christmas it's a mess now and I don't see it improving anytime soon and things clearly aren't ok in the boardroom

I think the Geordies will give Benetiz a pass if Sept/Oct doesnt go ok. He got them into 10th last season which was an over achievement.

I can see Jose being sacked this season but not before Xmas- Utd spent months and months of bad football before they sacked Moyes & LVG so the board does not act swiftly. Plus I still expect Jose get a response from this team and to be within the top 6 come Xmas, if he is not then things might change. I just cant see him as 5/2 favourite the way PP can. They have priced clear relegation threatened managers at 20/1 and 25/1 and normally when one of these has a string of 5-6 losses on the trot the Chairman looks at the potential relegation and loss of the Premier League money and they are forced to act. Huddersfield might be that team but it could be any one of them, Cardiff, Fulhan, Soton, Wolves.

Spare a thought for Betfair Exchange users, Jose's only @EVS in the sack race there. :pac:

I went small with RB Salzburg & BTTS @9/2 on Betway, they're playing away at an empty Red Star Belgrade stadium. Then again, I'm sure Salzburg won't have the easiest of journeys to the stadium.
