That card bet was a bit of a joke bet, hadnt even looked up which ref was at which match.
Hope same bet is available next week, last round.

Out of the 9 matches next, 6 are without anything to play for.
Only ADO, PEC and Heerenveen have a "play off for EL" place to play for, with 2 places available for the 3 of them.
Suspicion that Feyenoord will give Heerenveen the point they need.
Gentlemens agreement from 2012. Although that result was the best for both of them. Feyenoord CL and Heerenveen 2nd round El Qual instead of 3rd.
Something to keep an eye on in play.

Ugh, nothing worse than a stoppage time loser. It stings that little bit more as I had Heerenveen +0.5 doubled with o4.5 Hamburg corners.

Hoping the pressure and importance of the Prem game will lead to one or both winning.

    Pen awarded 10/3

    Red card yes 3/1

    Edit barely a tackle, pity.

Are spurs very short tonight at 1 to 5 ?? Just look a tired team to me last fortnight or so

    Madrid @2/1 tonight looks huge?

Madrid have a very weak squad.

No Ronaldo, Isco, Carvajal and Bale is out suspended. Resting Navas, Kroos, Modric, Marcelo. Very average squad they're bringing. Ramos, Casemiro, Benzema, Asensio only big players they're playing. @3.3 looks short if anything although Sevilla are very so so.

reasons to back and reasons to avoid posted above

sevilla have been on a horrible run at home but its a crazy price now for real
the dc at 4/5 might be some gift
one win at home in last 6 for sevilla who have been rubbish at times this season...one loss in last ten away for real (8wins) away

pretty sure they go second if they win tonight also

I'll dip my toe in that and go for Newcastle +0.5 @5.25 on Bet365.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,127 ✭✭✭The real mccoy 91

    Little late posting but doubled
    Chelsea and under 3.5 4/5
    Spurs and under 3.5 6/5

A corner race double tonight @ 2.8 with BFSB

    Man City v Brighton
    Neither
    Race To 9 Corners @ 8/11

    Tottenham v Newcastle
    Neither
    Race To 9 Corners @ 8/13

Spurs aren't banging them in lately at home, only once would they have hit 9+ in their last 8 home games. And Man City were the last team to hit 9+ against Newcastle last January.

With no Sterling or Silva in the city team, could lead to a lower corner count.

Was nearly up by HT, cash out was @ 2.6.

Spurs with a late bust to finish on 6 but not any closer elsewhere.

Was surprised enough by the prices.

PuntersHangout - how do you select your bets as a matter of interest? Stats, etc...?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,246 ✭✭✭✭callaway92

Stats, reviews, watching games, highlights, discussions with other people I have made connections with over the years but basically it all comes down to years of trial and error. At this stage I know exactly what I'm looking for and what to avoid while taking a very analytical approach to my analysis. It all takes time but my bankroll is at a level now where I can justify it.

I only post a small sample of my bets... Are you wondering how I have tipped a variety of leagues recently?:)

You're not "The Division" are you? Similar style of posting/betting

I don't doubt your edge or your claims, and I understand you only post a selection of bets but I do find it interesting that the bets you post here are usually high odds on picks, something which seems the opposite of the norm for a smart bettor. Is there value to be found on short price selections, there is for sure but it has bound to be rarer and slimmer.

Now due to gambling addiction issues I've taken a back seat to it, especially obscure football leagues and markets but I still look and study at the markets and in particular, I see opportunities on Betfair Exchange very often and more often than not they involve opposing the odds on pick in the same way you'd back the underdog as the favourite is at a compressed price. I find it interesting someone who has an idea of what they're doing is finding an edge on picks that have already been pounded in to death by big players.

Only noticed that pp are doing Same Game Multi now,
Utd win, btts, red card yes, 5 on the treble for interest at nearly 25/1

5 on both teams to gave a red also, 60/1 is too big I think.

Edit, no joy, although Noble and Pogba gave me a little hope at the very end.

Ascoli 1 up. Btts around 1/2 but would be tempted to put the house on it lookin at the draw odds.
