Felix: I'm a father, I need to be responsible for my family.

Except you're not really Felix, are you?

Yes or no felix. It's not rocket science.

sorry guys, but listening to this bunch of whiners makes me so disinclined to take any more.

Like where did this guy think he was going, checking into the Hilton in Hawaii or something?

Forced to share with strangers? What does he want, private ensuite?

I am sure there are some genuine people in direct provision, but the ones we are hearing today come across as being so ungrateful.

Very fishy as well why guys like him flee their country and leave their family behind

Why doesnt Joe ask now if he is working, how he plans to support his family etc. Or will I be funding 6 or 6 more social welfare recipients?

Yeah, Felix ain't doing the asylum seeking cause any good really. His story sounds very suspicious.

He's just hoping Patricia rings in to buy his freedom.

How many countries do you have to cross to get to Ireland? and how much does it cost? how can you afford to go all that way?

Zambia, The Congo, Sudan, Egypt, Jordan, The Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Austria, Germany, Holland, the UK and finally Ireland.

    Phew.

And here we go - his whole reason for being here - getting the 'abandoned' wife and child in.

Called it earlier. So obvious, he's not even subtle about it.

He's just hoping Patricia rings in to buy his freedom.

Sure he's a great lad. Good boy, well done, well done..... wonderful father as well.

She might even pay towards his mortgage.

    South Africa to Ballyhaunis
Bit of a culture shock I'd say

It's amazing how these "callers" all know Joe is the man to talk to about their situations so to speak. I mean I can imagine if you were foreign and living here and wanted to listen to something every afternoon Duffy would be your first choice........not.

In the meantime, Felix can find a Sugar Mammy to serve his meals and support him.

Why won't Duffy ask the obvious questions:

Has your case been heard? What was the outcome?

They should get the army to drop in a few shells outside the perimeter of the centre, to make it feel like home.

Thanks Atlantic, genuinely didn't know that so to speak. One more question though: what colour are the forms?
