Caller: "It was in the Leinster area"

Joe would have a heart attack at the thoughts of someone possibly identifying the company from that info. Bad line bad line. On another day...

Caller: "Can I name the company?"
    Joe: "OF COURSE! OF COURSE!!!"

How does he know HR are not just doing interviews for the sake of them to make themselves look busy? Happens often.

Reminds me of Ricky Gervais on one of his XFM shows -

"Did you lie in the interview?"

    "No"

    "You got the job!"

How is he so sure he was discriminated against because of his age. Could have been for any number of reasons such as not being the best candidate on the day. Maybe somebody older, in fact, than him got the job

As opposed to the usual "Entitled" caller, Pay no Taxes all your life and get everything in return!

Yes 9 months but she probably assumed she would get a job in that time, if she went on one of the schemes it would limit her availability for interviews and job searching so to speak.
