The ladies in the office usually process them on a Monday and Wednesday. Then post the same week. So if done on Monday you should have it before weeks end, and if done on Wednesday you'll have it early the next week.

That was my experience with the last two.

They seem very helpful. Sent them an email this morning with a question regarding which category to select for a moderator and withun a couple of hours they rang me in person and explained what I should do.

    Very nice lady.

Yup. Probably the easiest department to deal with when it comes to firearms.

Took about three week in my case in the last month. They claimed to have sent it out by post which I never recived and was lucky enough to have one of the head people look into it for me and email me out a copy of it.Very much an anomaly for them as they are usually on the ball going by all reports.

Assuming your licence and documentation is all in order should only take 2-3weeks. They are efficient and pleasant to deal with. Only hold ups can be with typos on FAC or computer system constraints in terms of firearms or accessories options on PULSE system. All in all they are excellent and easy to deal with. If it is a first time they generally call you when processing your application.
