I'm going with both, hard to choose one.

I can't decide between Siggy and Tadic, one of them will have to go if I pick Lamela. Feeling less confident about Siggy though with all the uncertainty around the Swans now.

Go back to Terry. I haven't given Saints defence any consideration tho.. I just feel with Cedric/Fonte & New manager could take them a while to settle.

Redmond? Could you find .5 elsewhere & go Lamela?

*just seen you have Alli. Alli looked well off it with England, could think him a while to get his confidence back
Thanks if I downgrade Alli to tadic then o could have lamela
He did the same thing in preseason last year though.........

I got rid of Siggy after he wasn't in squad for their last friendly yesterday.

"With Williams, Taylor and Sigurdsson missing all of the Swans' pre-season friendlies, Guidolin has yet to decide how many - if any - of the Euro 2016 trio will feature at Turf Moor.
"He [Williams] is a little bit later than others but it is normal for him," the Italian added.

"I don't know about playing next week. It is difficult because he has only just begun to work in the last days."

    Foster (Jakupovic)

    Stones Shaw Evans (PVA Friend)

    Hazard Tadic Lamela Townsend (Leko)

    Aguero Ibra Gray

Perhaps a little too much WBA!!!

Wales Online is a bit more optimistic:
But the conspiracy theories were put on hold with the fact that fellow Euro 2016 stars Neil Taylor and Gylfi Sigurdsson were also missing. Only Sigurdsson is likely to be ready to return for next weekend's opener at Burnley.

    Mandanda (Jakupovic)

    Smith Shaw Terry (Randel Paredes)

    Hazard Tadic Lamela Firmino (Leko)

    Aguero Ibra Gray

I'm risking it with the 4.0 defs, but I'm hoping 1 or 2 become starters

If by Randel you mean Connor Randall at Liverpool - he has little to no chance of becoming a starter. He's not a great player.

I'm keeping an eye on the following £4.0m defenders:

Tarkowski (in case Keane is sold - rumours of Leicester interest)
Amat (in case Williams is sold - rumours of Everton interest)
Brad Smith (in case Daniels gets moved to midfield)

VERY similar to mine. Attacking & midfield nearly identical, debating myself whether to gamble on Lamela or not, waiting to see how Ibra gets on today to see if he'll be in my team.

If Lingaard was guaranteed game time id stick him in for townsend and probably upgrade elsewhere with the .5 possibly Gray to Ighalo but cant see him getting more than the odd start and mostly game time off the bench

Nice team but I don't see you using Butland in any of the first 3 or 4 games with their fixtures. Mandanda will get you through those first few games - no need to have 2 playing keepers if you're wildcarding so early - so you get a whole £1.0m extra to upgrade elsewhere if you bring in a non-playing £4.0m instead of him.

If I were you I wouldn't be using all 5 defenders for just 3 or 4 games when you can set up completely in advance. If you can shave off an additional £0.5m from one of them (Koné or Stones I'd suggest), I would upgrade Fletcher to Redmond who looks like he might start in an advanced position for Southampton and rotates perfectly for the first 5 GW's with Feghouli to give you 5 home games - Watford, Bournemouth, Sunderland, Watford, Swansea

No offence, but where to start?!

Adrian is away to Chelsea and City in first 3 weeks - look at Foster or Heaton as you are planning an early WC.

You have 2 non playing defenders. 1 you might get away with but 2 will bite you in the ass if one of the other 3 get injured/dropped/suspended.

You have way too much Liverpool, have you seen their first 5 fixtures? 4 aways and home to the Champions. Payet might not play GW1 and Kante is a waste. If you want bench fodder downgrade to a 4.5.

Sturridge is injured again so isn't sure to even start next week.

I'd keep Jakupovic, your 3 playing defenders, Tadic, a Liverpool mid, Gray and Aguero. I really think the other 7 need changing.

    De Gea (Hennessey)
    Bellerin/Alderweireld/Fonte/Blind/Ivanovic
    Tadic/Cabaye//Fabregas/Sigurdsson/Drinkwater
    Long/Aguero/Gray

Im thinking Im better off having it pretty balance rather than focus on one or two stars.
Cabaye at 6m seems very cheap, Townsend is 6.5m - is there a reason for this? Also Blind/Valencia/Shaw I see a lot of people going for Shaw - whats the reasoning behind this?

First draft of the season but I'm fairly happy with it. Haven't had much time to look over fixtures/drafts etc. so be brutal please lads:

    Foster/Pickford
    Stones, Shaw, Terry, Kone, Evans
    Andros, Hazard, Mahrez, Tadic, Capoue
    Aguero, Gray, Lukaku.

I was going to go with Silva over Mahrez but Hull look like they could ship a hammering on the opening day.

I wouldn't have minded going with Vardy over Lukaku but can't see where to free up a mil and I'm hoping Koeman will have a positive effect on Big Rom. Any suggestions?

Lukaku picked up sone sort of knock this week so keep a lookout for information regarding that. Having him over Ibra does give your team a strong look though, food for thought maybe.

    From Evertons Twitter page:
Ronald Koeman says Romelu Lukaku needed three stitches to a cut. 'Not serious', explains the boss. #EFC

I'm thinking about Terry to a 4.5 and Lukaku to Vardy.

Budget defence plus PVA could be an option, albiet a bit risky.

I'm ditching Terry. Chelsea defence has looked dodgy. Could take Conte a while and probably a new signing or two to sort it.

Shaw plus all cheapies i think.

    Foster/Pickford
    Stones, Shaw, Francis, Kone, Evans
    Andros, Hazard, Mahrez, Tadic, Capoue
    Aguero, Gray, Vardy.

Terry to Francis (is he the best of the other 4.5s?) and Lukaku to Vardy.

    Foster (Jakupovic)
    Stones Shaw Friend (McAuley, Paredes)
Hazard Mahrez (vc) Tadic Deulofeu (Capoue)
    ----Aguero (c) Vardy Long

Happy with this right now. 0.5 in the bank. Barring a flukey start where this team ends up being right from the off I'll WC after GW3 like a lot on here.

    Butland

    Morgan
    Funes Mori
    Van Dijk

    Marhez
    Tadic
    Eriksen
    Feghouli

    Gray
    Inbrahimovic
    Aguero

    That's what I'm on now.

    Foster, Jakupovic.
    Shaw, Evans, Friend, Mee, Kone.

It's allowed me to upgrade Siggy to Firmino now, which I think is decent with the mess Arsenal seem to be in at the back now.

    Front eight is:

    Hazard, Firmino, Tadic, Townsend, Capoue
    Aguero, Ibra, Gray.

There's so much up in the air at the moment that guaranteed starters are key. There's scope in my plans to downgrade Ibrahimovic if he doesn't start well and upgrade accordingly. I think Carroll (if injury free) will become tasty from GW4 on.

    That's interesting
If you even went for Redmond over tadic it would allow a strong front 8 to rotate and and a 5ml defender If you wanted
Or upgrade Townsend to lamela if you so wished along with a 5.5ml midfielder for capoue

Help me out lads!! Not content with this

    GK: De Gea, Jaku

Def: Shaw, Terry, Baines, Smith, Friend

Mid: Feghouili, Fabregas, Siggy, Mahrez, Fletcher

    Striker: Aguero, Ibra, Gray

I'm probably gonna go with 343.

    I'm currently considering this.

Thinking Tadic -> Redmond so that I can do Townsend -> Lamela and upgrade Evans to Funes Mori...

I can't believe there's another week of this crap to go :pac:
