He was the Co founder/leader of a group which ordered the deaths of innocent civilians, he was also a terrorist sympathiser he supported the IRA.

Mods if this is in the wrong section please move it to the appropriate one instead of taking it down, thanks.

Is there a point to your post? I thought everybody who takes even a passing interest in life on the planet would know Nelson Mandela's history.

One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter.

He was a terrorist in his early years, but released that only peaceful means would solve South Africa's problems and he was right.

Martin McGuinness? Sure Gerry Adams was never in the IRA. Right?

Or are you saying that Gerry was a terrorist?

Amazing what kind of revelations you have while spending 27 years in jail.

There is never an excuse for terrorism. The man is a terrorist and always will be.

You know very little of the history of SA to make such a simple statement.

I'd say stir it most likely, from a place of ignorance. Interesting how an opponent of the system is branded a 'terrorist' Yet the state's acts of terrorism against its majority of citizens was/is ignored.

Yes I do it's very indifferent to Northern Ireland it still doesn't justify terrorism you also didn't address the fact that he was terrorist sympathiser/supporter.

Same as northern Ireland it still doesn't justify terrorism, terrorism can never be justified.

I'd guess that only very young or very ignorant people don't know his background! Are you very young Jack?

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Umkhonto_we_Sizwe

Do some basic research there on his acts of indiscriminate careless terrorism.

Same with northern Ireland where small children as young as 8 were killed with plastic and real bullets, 13 year old girls being shot dead but it still doesn't justify terrorism.

You mentioned Nelson Mandela in your title, why the repeated reference to NI, why not the Basque region of Spain or Gaza?
