Spent the last 3 days stomach tubing a calf twice a day that wouldn't suck the cow or a bottle, after throwing an eye to her there now and there's 2 teats sucked out. Happy days!

I am at one since last Sunday night. Mad to suck but doesn't know how. Have had close to 1000 calves born here in my time and never ever seen this before.

Ah ha! I'll take that question !

Americans count 2000 lbs to a ton.

So how did they fit 22000lbs (11 tons) into a bomb weighting 21,600lbs?

8 ton of modern explosive which is equal to 11 ton of TNT

It happens every now a again and when it does its only then that you really appreciate when a calf just gets up a sucks on his own. It means a he'll of allot.

Found this lamb in the field this morning. Never seen a lamb eat out like this before. It almost looks like it was done by hand.
    Any ideas?

First clear test today. Cow went down in the annual test. Rest of the cow was spotless and no lesions in factory. Frustrating but what can you do?

Hope the next test come a right now

I did ya. The calf also has a massive hernia. Requires an operation at 1 month old if she makes it that far. The hernia is too wide to be stitched. Vet reckons sensible thing is put her down but where there is life there is hope Imo.

Got an email of the ASA earlier saying I won the student bursary for a trip to Holland so it's something to look forward to after the exams :D

That there's the work of a Beast. They say it's as big as four cats and has a retractable leg so it can leap up at you better and it lights up at night and it's got four ears, two are for listening and the other two are kind of back up ears and it's claws are as big as cups and for some reason it's got a tremendous fear of stamps. It's got magnets on it's tail, so if you're made of metal, it can attach itself to you and instead of a head, it's got four arses.
