I thought he was in Rio when they said they wanted his passport but then everyone else seemed to think he wasn't. I haven't seen/heard anything from him since he was linked to the Pat Hickey stuff. I was just wondering if it was actually confirmed where he was.

Yeah, just saw from the Rio police press conference that they want Irish police to help them investigate Dellaney's part in it. So presumably he's here.

A journalist - I can't remember who or where - reported that they saw Hickey attend the OCI meeting here the other evening.

I'd say he was meant to go to Rio, but when Dundalk did so well his FAI duties took priority over his OCI duties.

I'm off to there in November so I'll take all tips you get... We won't be hiring as it will be a weekend thing. Going to do the lagoon anyway, but maybe the natural springs too .

Wife's mate is only back after a weeks camping there. Said it was brilliant. She told me that they headed north and it was less touristy and very beautiful. Photos look stunning.

Two assists. Without him ye'd be f*cked!

Usually I'm happy to see Dublin get beaten but I feel like Kerry should be collectively punished for the Healy Raes in as many ways as possible.

Yeah he looks shaken up after the first assist.

Hey.... 2 words...... Bertie Aherne..... he destroyed the country the Rae's are comedic value

Can both be punished? Mayo can claim the walkover. :D

Maurice Fitzgerald exploits were the first sporting disappointments I can remember as a child. The man had ice in his veins.

Interestingly Dublin didn't win a single All Ireland (football anyway) while Bertie was in charge. The football gods knew.

Dublin punched themselves out getting level. Cluxton will beat himself up badly over this game if Kerry close it out.

All in all, it would be a great result for the GAA. Dublin's dominance is checked and the calls for restructuring may dim.

Dublin have won 3 in 20 years, I think? Is that considered dominance?

They've won 3 in 20 years, correct. They've also won 3 in 5 years and are a minute away from the final for 4 in 6.

The split up the county talk is total nonsense anyway, will never happen.

3 in 5 years and the last four league titles on the bounce.

The best team will never always win the All Ireland due to the nature of a knock out format but they're utterly dominant overall in recent years in intercounty football.

Kerry won 4 from 6 in the 00's so we still haven't broken any records yet. Even if we do win it this year it's only a back to back win. Kerry won it 4 times in a row in the 70/80's!

The final will be a non event. Dublin will smash Mayo out the gate.

Today was the perfect semi for Dublin, a good workout and a good test. No danger of being undercooked.

    That was absolutely inevitable.

The cheeky ****ers in the EU have defined it as "windfall" so we're forced to put it into debt repayment and can't invest it in any services.

Yes, take that money back from the American company and instead give it to DB/SG because they're still a little shakey after funding a ridiculous credit crisis across the continent.

But at the very least it will allow us to increase investment indirectly by paying down some of the more expensive debt that we were forced to take on by the EU.

We'll appeal, we have to really. It'll drag on for years.
