Today I learned Bronn is 50% of Robson and Jerome. Incredible! What a talent.

Incredible you didn't know that. Perhaps you also didn't know that he never appears in scenes with Lena Headey because they once were a 'thing' and it didn't end well.

Also, the other half of Robson (Robson Green) and Jerome was in Strike Back.

I knew the Lena Headley thing.

Speaking of Lena Headey, here's an old photo from her college days. Recognise the two guys in the picture with her?

Right on the second count, well spotted. James Marsden is on the left.

    Cyclops, Cersei and Darryl. :)

So are they effectively charging for having an outside and an inside to a house now?

There's a lot of truth in the idea that the current model is broken and funding of RTE needs to happen somehow. Ireland always gets crap from the Welsh about the paucity of our Pro14 broadcasting revenue, but the simple fact is that we don't have the backing of a huge entity like the BBC. How can we fork out huge money for the league when we can't fund something like that? AFAIK RTE is a loss making company as it stands anyway. They do need to figure out how to make it work because it isn't really at the moment.

More taxes though is probably not the way......

From scanning the article the report has a number of ideas in it, none of which have gone in front of Government yet.

RTE is a ****ing disaster. Throwing more money at them isn't going to solve anything.

Well I'd tend to agree, but sadly that's the Irish answer to most problems.

However RTE probably does need more money available to it to pay/buy for programming. Whether that requires additional money in or a restructuring of how the money is spent I couldn't say. The level of expectation on RTE from some people, and the refusal to acknowledge that a small fish in a small pond can only do so much, is a bit mad.

If any of you have older kids and they have, or are getting a hoverboard, just be careful.

It says suitable for kids of all ages. This is a blatant lie. This 43 year old kid fell off it in a fcuking heap yesterday and ended up with a bruised shoulder, a busted elbow and worst of all, a damaged ego.

Lol I was selling my daughters one for her a few weeks ago, and the guy asked me to demonstrate it. She'd had it two years and i had avoided going anywhere near it, as every adult I've seen on one has gone arse over tit and wrecked themselves. Luckily I was on a big wide road and managed not to kill myself, but those things move!!
