Father had the dogs out for a gallop this morning and one disappeared close to the house.no sign of him all day- Complete mystery. Searching this evening I looked in a soak/test hole that was dug next door for a planning permission last week and found him drowned in it- the hole had very steep sides and a few feet of water in it. I'm gutted but if theres a lesson to be learned from it it might well have been a child and shows how simple an accident can happen.
