Ok, so I did the measuring today before I hopped into the shower and the calculator gave me these choices. 34FF/G, 32G/GG and 36F/FF. AHHHH This is so frustrating because I was trying on all these sizes in the shop the day I went over and 32 was way too tight except for the Panache Tango, 34 is grand but feels a bit loose and there's no way I'd buy a 36 after the weight loss.

Oh well, at least I've got an idea of the sizes to try :-/

Could you go with a 32 and a band extender until it stretches out a bit? I have one bra that's a 30 band and I'm amazed it fits. It's not the most confortable, mind, but it just shows how much stretch there is in bands!

Well OP if you are a 32 in the Panache Tango, then your probably a 34 normally. When I was measured some time ago in Bravissimo, the lady there told me that for the Panache Tango, go down a band size & up a cup size.

To be honest I find even though I'm small busted bras can be a nightmare. I need to get some new ones anyway as the olds ones I got aren't giving me the support and I can feel them moving even when I walk with some bras.

I was in Edinburgh over the last few days and made a point of going into Bravissimo to get a feel for their bras and get fitted. I'm so disillusioned with places like M&S or Debenhams, where I just never feel like I'm getting anywhere. They're not very good or interested in helping find ones that fit perfectly. The Bravissimo lady stayed with me the whole time (a good 45 mins!!) and there was no measuring tape involved. She found my size after 2 goes, and educated me to exactly what I should be looking for- to the point now that I'd be reasonably confident to figure it out myself from now on across the different brands and not need any more fittings, probably ever. I now know what a comfy bra is & how to find my size :D

It was all stuff you read about, but I guess just being shown the various aspects really helps make it less daunting. Fully recommend anyone to do the same if you're popping over to the UK, it helps *A LOT.*

I'm pretty confident I have my size right at this stage, but I'll be in Reading in September and I'm making a point to go to Bravissimo

Completely agree with Raminahobbin, Bravissimo is well worth a visit if in the UK - I was fitted in Glasgow and had a similar experience.

I'm slightly in shock here. I've always been a 36D, recently lost some weight (just under two stone) and some of my bras were starting to look all wrong on me. I've always gone to M&S so back I went to get measured. Oh your size hasn't changed, you're still a 36D. So I bought 2 new ones which fit me ok. Then I'd to get a strapless one for a bridesmaid dress and got the Wonderbra one with the hands. My sisters and the other bridesmaid both recommended it. Got it in 36D, it looked awful. The dress maker told me there was no way I could wear it. So I went back to Debenhams and got measured etc and it turns out I am a 32F - for feck sake! Miles off! Anyway, I have the Wonderbra now in a much more comfortable 34E and for regular bras 32F. I can't believe M&S got it so wrong. I'm going to have to read back over all the recommendations in this thread again! And I'm definitely going to measure myself as well using the link Faith gave earlier in the thread to make sure it's right this time
