Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I think the Daily Mail or National Enquirer may have had a hand in reporting about all that :pac:

    Into motorsport at all?

Not really. I haven't seen a formula one race for years. MotoGP is a tad more interesting and I've been to watch a couple.

Do you think rally drivers are more talented than F1 drivers?

  • Moderators, Science, Health & Environment Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators, Regional West Moderators Posts: 60,484 Mod ✭✭✭✭Gremlinertia

I often think it would be interesting to put drivers in one category into another type to see how they get on.. As for talent, i wouldn't rank one above another tbh, the skill and talent is phenominal anyway..

Ooh been to Moto GP races, which one? I'm jealous!

I went to the Catalunyan GP twice.
I've never even ridden a motorbike.

The jacket I wear to work most days has an inside pocket with a velcro closing.

    Do you trust contactless cards?

What do you think of Kimi Raikkonen?

  • Moderators, Science, Health & Environment Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators, Regional West Moderators Posts: 60,484 Mod ✭✭✭✭Gremlinertia

I worry a bit about possibility of theft with contactless but it's a great idea for day to day transactions if a cashless society is what everyone wants.

What sort of hours/days do you work?.

He seems a bit grumpy but at least seems passionate about his driving.

About two years ago. Felt a bit sorry for some of the animals as they
looked bored out of their boxes.

What zoo animal do you think enjoys living in a zoo most?

    no

    are you a dreamer

I have some, one small one of which I think may be coming true in the near future :)

I had an actual dream just before I woke this morning about these talking rats that were mocking me with their squeaking! Weird, right! :/ Do you ever have bizarre dreams that make you think wtf was that?

Yep. I have semi regular dreams about tsunamis. In one, my dream family (not my actual family) were tethered to a big long rope in Tramore Bay, waiting for the tsunami to hit us.

Would you rather be one of 20 men with baseball bats fighting a bear, or be one person alone fighting a violent prison convict?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,360 ✭✭✭Lorelli!

Oh I have some recurring disaster dreams too where a plane crashes into my bedroom window.

I don't know which one I would choose there. If the bear fight was in self defense or to save someone, I would chose that because I don't think I would physically be able to fight a violent criminal on my own.

How many times have you been in love?

I don't. Usually annoying ones where I'm trying to do something and people /things continually get in the way. A bit like the movie After Hours.

Have you ever stayed in a pub after hours?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 71,799 ✭✭✭✭Ted_YNWA

No but when I was a kid, I was at a sleep over in my pals house and her older sister started scaring us and telling us that she saw a banshee at the window.

Do ghost stories ever scare you now that you're a grown up?

If anything, they scare me even more!:o

What reasonably priced car would you buy if you were given the money? Not ones like Ferraris or Lamborghinis

I haven't got a clue about cars. Im only learning how to drive now :/ Maybe a classic mini cooper or something. Even if i had the money, I'd never drive a Ferrari or Lamborghini. I think they're too flash.

How long did it take you to learn how to drive?
