Extra payment of around 20-25 euro. Well worth it for piece of mind.

Let me amplify my earlier post, this thread is about a stolen car.
If you have insured your car with AIG via your GUI number (you have to have a GUI number to avail of their golfer's scheme) then your golf equipment is automatically covered up to €2k if stolen from your car (locked in boot).
Their scheme is actually called "Fore Insurance" apologies for calling it Golfsure, I had that term in my head from somewhere.

This €2k is included in the premium, no extra payment involved.
