when you were a nipper at school going age where did you used to holiday in the summer holidays - did you holiday in Ireland, or go abroad like on the continent, ....... or did you holiday in Trabolgan LOL :D

Golfo Aranci or Porto Torres in Sardinia.
I come from Porto-Vecchio in the south of Corsica which as the name suggests is a port town, Sardinia is only a ferry away.

Kerry when very very young, then West Cork for many years until Leaving Cert year. We didn't have a "family" holiday abroad until I was finished college. With four of us, money was tight I suppose.

I holidayed in my back garden with my pals. It was all inclusive, my mother used to provide ham sandwiches and bottles of soda stream.

I didn't get to experience much culture though, unlike those who went to Lanzarote.
