    VERY tough choice this week
and one has the early game and the other than Monday night
so could be a long wait for a lot of people depending on how aguero does sat morning !

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,303 ✭✭✭Mike Ehrmantraut

Aguero could do serious damage against Stoke if he gets the game time but Kane on a Monday night looks the safer option. So probably Kane.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,822 ✭✭✭LostArt

Kane, have no confidence in Aguero starting due to how sh*te Stoke are.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,969 ✭✭✭✭alchemist33

Kane. Might even triple captain depending on how West Brom look tonight.

"A third brace in five appearances suggests the Spurs striker looks a very viable armband candidate to Aguero this weekend. As the recent 3-0 home win over United showed, though, whenever the armband looks tattooed the Spurs striker, he finds a way of sinking into a background role and letting Tottenham’s supporting cast win the day – indeed, Kane has blanked in three of his last five at the Lane, including failures against Watford and Swansea."

    Hmm...

Alternatively..he has 3 goals and 1 assist in his last 3 home games.

But Aguero could get that in one !
    It's a tough call

Voted for Kane, but only because I'm concerned about Aguero's gametime. Stoke were awful against Spurs.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,845 ✭✭✭Cartman78

    What about Sturridge against Newcastle???

    Major differential / potential disaster

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,711 ✭✭✭keano_afc

Sanchez. An incredibly streaky player and he's on a great run.

No idea. Toss up between Kane, Sanchez, Aguero, and Pelle.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,528 ✭✭✭✭dsmythy

Continuing in my wild swings with me way back on my money league. Martial disaster last time maybe Sturridge will do a good one for me.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,690 ✭✭✭✭siblers

Pelle, would be Aguero but not sure of his gametime.

Surely Aguero has to start as City are still not looking certs for 4th?

    Triple captain...?

I'm going with sanchez, maybe kane if I get nervous.
I'd imagine Liverpool are thinking of the europa league at this stage or could they still get a euro place from the PL?

Nah he already used his triple captain chip on Aguero and Sanchez.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 163 ✭✭tommyhayes1989

Got to be Kane. He'll play the full game. If City are ahead and looking comfortable he'll take off Aguero, Champ League semi final around the corner

    Risk-taking time!

    Mahrez v Swansea

    Kane C Aguero V

After Sanchez f#cking me last night, I'm going to have to go mental
    Shane long.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 42,220 ✭✭✭✭Scorpion Sting

I have it on Aguero atm but thinking Mahrez might be worth a shot against a Swansea side with one eye on next season.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,872 ✭✭✭✭dahat

Kane and Sturridge are both differentails for me so going to captain Aguero as both my rivals will likely go that route.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,307 ✭✭✭DarraghF197

Kane because the league leader has told me he finally brought in Aguero so he'll probably captain him. Expected points for Kane is greater than Aguero imo as well.

Feck it, its going on studge, but i"m wary of Benitez packing out the defence and nicking one in the last 10 mins

Got Kane for first time this season and will give him the armband. Although Sanchez shone for me this week I have a bit of respect for Sunderland's defence lately and Aguero's minutes could be curtailed. Don't want to admit it but Iroced's MNF analysis did come to mind in making this decision and if It works I'll probably do the same next week too.

    Kane, Harry Kane.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,797 ✭✭✭Shane St.

Has to be Kane for me!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 42,220 ✭✭✭✭Scorpion Sting

Right, decision made. Going with Mahrez (c), Kane (v).

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,886 ✭✭✭stephenl15

Aguero or Kane. Early kickoff for Aguero is pushing me towards Harry

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,022 ✭✭✭✭Iused2likebusts

Currently on Kane this may change.

Newcastle have a 16-4 overall away score for the last 6 games.

I hate Liverpool for the rotation they pulled last week, but with Benteke, Ings and Origi injured, Sturridge will have to play the full 90, won't he?!

He's scored 4 in his last 5 appearances...

Ahhhh! I hate this game and the fact the two times I Captained Kane he returned 4 points!!!

    F*ck it anyway.

It's on Sturridge with Kane vc.

There's the option of Firmino at false 9 and Sturridge benched

after an absolute catastrophe of a punt on Martial for the DGW I'll be tossing a coin on Aguero or Kane.

Winning the EL is their best chance of CL next season.
I'd imagine that's their priority now.

West Bron have only conceded more than two four times this season. I expect Pulis to shut up shop so I'm going with Aguero.

Edit: gone back to Kane. Rival has him and no Aguero. I've an 80 point lead for €500 so no point taking chances.

Firmino rumoured to be up front... I'm chasing so Firmino(c) it is!!

    Going for Shane Long.

Aguero. For the reasons you gave originally.

Its Pulis. Spurs will be happy to win 1-0.

Can see more goals in City game and Aguero will start and come off early.

(BTW In you league position I'd still go with your gut. You've covered Kanes score. If he gets 20 captain pts thats the max you lose, less Agueros score x 2 as the other lad doesn't even own him.)

Yeah but it's really Aguero x 2 v Kane + whatever other striker his rival has gets

I'm so dumb. I've only just realised that City are home, not away. I thought it was at the Britannia - er, I mean, the bet365 - and I had it on Kane. Now I'm not sure what to do.

    Shush!!!!

    Ugh, the doubts...

Newcastle have conceded 63 goals and scored a measly 6 in the PL at Anfield and only won there once.

So that's clearly not true. They scored 6 alone in the two 4-3 games at Anfield in the league in 96 & 97

Then there was the 2-2 game in 2002, the comeback liverpool had on the last day of the season in 2014 when trying for the title after being 1 down. Danny Agger scored an own goal around 2010 or so and I'm sure there's been other times they've scored there in the league, certainly in the double figures at the very least

Stupid SSN telling me lies earlier.......Anyhow the point is that they don't win there and concede a lot.
