It turns the phone to a dedicated web cam that can be viewed on ANY other smart phone.
Place old phone near target, and "view" hits on your own phone beside you!

Both phones need Internet access, but if one has it, you could hotspot it to the other!!

A good tip. I used to shoot with a 4x or a 1x myself so I know where you are coming from. Next time I kidnap a 14 year old I'll force them to set my phone up for that as I'm a bit challenged on the tech side

Another option is that Lidl have 10x50 binos on offer this week for 19.99. I'm sure quality is 'suspect' to say the least. Not exactly Zeiss etc. However, out to 100/200 I've found their stuff to be pretty functional. I got a spotting scope there before for similar small money and could clearly see the holes out to 300.

Yes, its for android. There are multitudes of other ones for different phone platforms.. apple/nokia etc

Of course, the spare phone can also be used as a general webcam, handy as a house cam,driveway cam, or keeping an eye on animals etc

I found it on apps, but not for windows phone. May buy a second iphone or just wait for Windows to get it on their store.

It already exists for windows phones. try dmss or ipcam viewer etc. What is your current phone/ proposed camera phone?

I'm not very tech savvy when it comes to these things. I thought i'd need the same app fr each phone.

I have iPhone 5s, and Windows phone Lumia 5-something.
