I watched that and must have missed that. Why would he have put on an Irish accent? Because of Farrell? Yanks putting on an Irish accent has always been laughable. But when they don't even have to it's just bizarre.

Yep, Colin Farrell kept his own accent, so Val Kilmer and Jared Leto followed his lead. And so the "Macedonian" accent was an Irish one :pac:

Its a crying shame that Val Kilmer looks the way he does now, he was a fine fettle of a man in Top Gun :(

He's not fat anymore. Looks like he has got cancer problems. LINK

Even the name "Top Gun" sounds gay.

    Top gun, bottom target.

Was more of a Days of Thunder fan if I wanted to watch a **** 80s film with Tom Cruise being the hero who the ladies can't resist.

Indeed. Hope he recovers. Val was pretty good in heat, and as Jim Morrison in the doors movie. Lot worse actors than val.

Lot's of people feel the same.

The bloke doesn't age, has dead eyes, and seems to be an ET doing his best human impression. He's a very odd man.

Tom isn't the worst either. His personal beliefs may be odd but he has been in a fair few decent movies. Risky business, the outsiders, top gun, the firm, even cocktail had its place at the time. Many others too. Vanilla sky, magnolia, born on the 4th of July, rain man, colour of money.....

Actually Tom has had a cracking career.

Tbf, 95% of the people in there were male, with a handful of women, me included. I just go where my gay friends feel comfortable :)

Auucck, he's not that creepy. Bit strange at times I suppose but not really creepy. Pretty good actor at times when it comes to it.

Don't agree with the Scientology thing but that's his own problem, not mine. For he a devout Christian or Muslim would it be any different?

No, religious extremists are a bit intense.

I didn't like him before the scientology thing though

I never knew "Merlin" was Tim Robbins. He'd be in jail a few years earlier.
