    Turn on your radios on AM/MW and you will hear some crackling, sounds like someone switching on and off a light switch only it lasts longer and is a lot more pronounced depending on how close it is.

    Heard it on the way home listening to the BBC on AM in the car.

    yep, basically at 2030Z(half 9)south easterly wind at 3knots there is 10 kilometers visibility(9999), few Cumulonimbus clouds at 2000ft(FEW020CB) SCATTERED AT 4000, BROKEN AT 12000. TEMP IS 17 DEGREES, DEWPOINT IS 14. PRESSURE 1020HPA

    lightening is lighting up a very ominous sky towards the sea. Looks like Howth might take a direct hit
