    Schmeichel
    Williams Janmaat Dawson
    Sanchez Siggy Mahrez (v) Payet
    Aguero Lukaku Kane (c)

Butland - Alli van Dijk Daniels

2 transfers made, Janmaat and Lukaku in for Dier and Vardy. This week's benching dilemma sees Alli dropped. Best of luck all.

    Elliot
    Dier Fuchs Williams
    Mahrez Ozil Silva Alli
    Kane(C) Lukaku Aguero
Subs: Forster, Bellerin, Kompany (inj), Stanislas (inj)

The only tough decision for me this week was to go with Fuchs or Bellerin. I've followed the bookmakers.

    Butland
    Fonte Daniels Toby
    Arnautovic Siggy Mahrez Payet
    Aguero(c) Lukaku Kane

    Myhill Alli Bennett Kompany

    Elliot
    Ivanovic Williams Otamendi
    Mahrez Siggy(c) Firmino Alli
    Vardy Aguero Kane
    (DDG - Silva Fuchs Daniels)

    Transfer banked.
Going with Siggy over Kane(c), Alli over Silva, and Otamendi over Fuchs. 2 out of 3 right will do.

Dreamt I benched Siggy ny mistake. Woke up and had to check team first thing. Events of last week have left scars.

To play ozil or not to play ozil that is the question..

I'm thinking about benching him in favour of siggy, payet, Ali and mehrez..

you have gone Eliot over forster ? that's currently my thinking too but everyone is tipping goals and pool could be tired in the other game q

    Lloris
    Simpson, Dawson
    Mahrez, Ozil, Payet, Siggy, Alli
    Kane (c), Aguero, Vardy

    McCarthy, Woolscheid, Francis, Kompany

Only 7 GWs after this, of which 3 will be used for WC, BB and TC, so this week is as good as any for AOA.

Double Chelsea defence! What have I done!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,862 ✭✭✭✭extra gravy

Should I go double Southampton defence or play Charlie D instead?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,741 ✭✭✭caviardreams

Guys why are so many benching Alli? Injury risk or anything? Currently benching Arnie instead.

Guys, went with two punts this week and brought in Siggy and Wijnaldum so they both really need to play.

I need to pick 7 from:

Wijnaldum (SUN), Alli (BOU), Mahrez (cry), Sigurdsson (AVL), Payet (che), Vardy (cry), Kane (BOU), Aguero (MUN)

I'm currently on a toss up between Payet and Vardy. THoughts?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,810 ✭✭✭✭jimmii

I'm super dollard and wouldn't consider siggy or wij punts this week!

There could be rotation after the Europa plus his home returns aren't great. I'm going to play Arnie over him I think even though his away returns aren't great.

Went all out attach. Think Everton will beat arsenal so no ozil or bellirin for me. Lukoil, Vardy and Kane upfront, soggy as captain.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,818 ✭✭✭Inspector Coptoor

    Butland
    Alder Morgan Daniels
    Mahrez Alli Payet Siggy
    Aguero Lukaku Kane (C)

    Hart Ozil Wollescheid Targett

Just sold Ighalo and brought in Lukaku.

Tough decision to put Ozil on the bench but his last 2 GWs have been blanks.

Thanks - saw he was subbed off after 70 in the EL so took that as a sign he was being rested for Sunday. So hard to know though.

It's a tough call either way - good luck with Arnie :)

I see you are going with Daniels over Wolly - I am currently the opposite as I fancy Spurs to be tight enough at the back. Might swap them though after seeing this!

    Siggy captain punt anyone else?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,862 ✭✭✭✭extra gravy

Shawcross is out this weekend so that lessens the appeal of Wolly too.

    Yep.
Don't think I consider it a punt though.

Have Dawson as my first sub with ozil second and allie playing. Anyone have any opinions? Dawson is 75% chance of playing but if he does they should keep a clean sheet again Norwich is my logic.

I have these starting like you, but I've still thinking about it but I'll probably go with those 7.

Alli (BOU), Mahrez (cry), Sigurdsson (AVL), Payet (che), Vardy (cry), Kane (BOU), Aguero (MUN)

see below. It's tempting to bring in Otamendi or Aranautavic but not sure who to drop. Azpil maybe?

Surely you could play Dawson over one of your other defenders?

Don't blame me when they get an unexpected clean sheet now :pac:

Everything I've read points to Dawson starting.

Swapped Dawson for allie. ..I've a good feeling about this which usually means things are going to go terribly wrong.

    Forster
    Simpson Dier Williams
    Sanchez Payet Eriksen Mahrez
    Aguero Lukaku Kane

    Cech, Sakho, Daniels, Wanyama

I might end up with a last minute defensive change but that's what I'm going for right now.

Wolly or VVD to start today lads?

    De Gea
    PVA - Dawson - Fuchs
    Khazri - Alli - Mahrez - Siggy
    Lukaku - Kane - Aguero (c)

Elliot: Arnie - Daniels - Morgan

I'm working under the assumption that Spurs score for benching Daniels and Sunderland score for starting De Gea over Elliot. I was tempted to sell Elliot for a 2 week keeper punt though.

    Butland
    Huth, Toby, Dawson
    Alli, Siggy, Ozil, Mahrez
    Kane(c), Aguero, Vardy

    Mccarthy, Arnie, Fonte, Smith

Yeah, I think Newcastle are in a great position to not only win the derby on Sunday but also keep a clean sheet in the process. Just a hunch, but at this stage of the season I might as well fall on my sword. The bookies agree too (if ever so slightly) - Southampton 2/1 for the clean sheet, Newcastle 7/4.

    Lloris
    Huth Sagna PVA
    Mahrez Siggy Toure Alli
    Vardy Aguero Kane(c)
    ( Arnie Bertrand Bellerin)

Was gonna play my AoA but keeping it for gw38.

    Benching Ozil and captain Aguero.

    Forester
    Dier Williams VVD
    Mahrez Alli Payet Firmino
    Aguero (c) Kane Vardy

    Targett Ozil Bennett

spurs have 8 league games left
    no cups
    2 week international break after
he will start and prob won't play 90

    Fabianski
    Bellerin PVA Fuchs
    Eriksen Mahrez(c) Siggy Sanchez
    Vardy Kane(vc) Aguero
    Elliot Alli VVD Daniels

Not happy about who I have to bench, could easily see any of them doing well

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,752 ✭✭✭Lights On

    Schmeichel
    PVA, Williams, Ake
    Siggy(c), Alli, Mahrez, Payet, Firmino
    Kane, Aguero

Benching Vardy and a last minute decision to put my eggs in the Swansea basket, hopefully it pays off and it's not the week that Villa start a comeback :o

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,711 ✭✭✭keano_afc

    Butland

    Huth--Williams--Toby
    Toure--Ozil--Mahrez--Alli--Siggy
    Aguero--Kane (c)

    Elliot Vardy Fonte Smith

Bit of a risk leaving Vardy on the bench but he's been quiet recently and I fancy Yaya to have a day against that awful United midfield

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,305 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Prodston

    De Gea
    PVA - Dawson - Fuchs

Fabianski in for Elliot and he's starting. Big Dave on the bench.

    Butland
    Toby, Williams, Fuchs
    Mahrez, Siggy, Sanchez, Alli
    Agüero, Kane (c), Vardy

Missus away for the weekend. 3 kids. 1 dog. 1 under 10 soccer blitz. 1 hiphop class. 2 birthday parties. Safe to say I'll be tuning out till MOTD at which point I'll collapse exhausted in front of the telly and fall asleep. ;)

Later. Good luck all (well, more specifically those who have the same players and captain as me, **** everyone else entirely)

Pretty sure my league leader has played his WC this week which would be a relief tbh as I feared the 33 BB34 combo

    Hart
    Bellerin Toby Huth
    Payet Siggy Mahrez Arnie

    My bench scares me.

Everton: Joel, Baines, Funes Mori, Jagielka (c), Coleman, McCarthy, Bešić, Cleverley, Lennon, Barkley, Lukaku.
subs: Howard, Stones, Kone, Niasse, Deulofeu, Osman, Galloway.

Arsenal: Ospina, Bellerin, Kosc, Gabriel, Monreal, Coquelin, Elneny, Iwobi, Ozil, Alexia, Welbeck.
subs: Macey, Gibbs, Merte, Chambers, Campbell, Walcott, Giroud.

Does Arsene think there is another game against Barca or is he trying to prove how much he can take the piss and not get sacked!

Hope this is a 3-3 with Ozil and Lukaku getting 3 each
