Recently got my herd number and on the form i had ticked for a smallholding / backyard option which said less than 5 pigs.... (getting ahead of myself i know now but just so i know for the future!!) firstly is this for 5 breeding sows or 5 pigs in total? what happens if a breeding sow or two has a litter and I have a total…

what happens if a breeding sow or two has a litter and I have a total well over the 5?

Is it a big deal to change my registration or is that even needed ... depending on answers to above questions...
