as im nearing my budget for a 223, (€2,000) will be going after a rifle i can use in the field,would like a compact set up that wont kill me carrying around,will be used for fox and rabbits at ranges up to and past 200yrds,would like a short barrel with over barrel mod,so any suggestions on make,mod,scope,this will be my…

my own cz kevlar loves american eagle 50 gn hp as well as 40 grain vmax...its the most honest rifle ive ever shot

well lads first off want to thank all sincerely for your replies,great bunch on here,............decided on a tikka lite 1/8 twist....for now,gonna ring a few dealers next week,get the details,put deposit on,apply for license,see how that goes,if successful,then will go after scope,mod,etc,i know some of you recommended other models,thanks,but always had a hankering for the tikka,hope all goes well with the license,and will post results soon as i hear anything,work seems to be picking up a bit of late,so my budget might go beyond €2000,so a nice scope will be on the cards,thanks again lads,happy st paddys day.
