I'd be more inclined to go the other way. Forget the complex eyeball argument, the idea that the sheer gorgeousness of the female form came about as a series of chance changes just wrecks my head. :)

So from the responses women do watch porn.

There was a thread posted oh AH about dick pics being sent to women on hetro dating apps.
On gay dating apps if someone unlocks their private pictures then mostly one of those pics would be a dick pic and men would send on their dic pics all the time. No big deal at all, expect maybe it's a bit annoying if saucy pics are the first point of communication without as much as a hello first.

So what is all the indignation all about? Why all the 'oh what kind of woman do you think I am'. Why all the "I'm so offended by you sending me that pic'. Why all the 'I'm not that kinda girl' stuff. One commented that they should be reported to the guards. Another said 'what an absolutely reprehensible thing to do'. Crazy over reactions if you ask me. Between two men it's utterly trivial , but between a man and a woman it's regarded by some kind sexual harassment. The male is a total sexpot and the female is a bastion of virtue.

It's not that. I enjoy getting dick pics of ones I've acquainted myself with. from people who give me hugs, and buy me presents and treat me like a person instead of a ****toy.

I have absolutely no interest in getting a look at some lonely looking penis that's red raw from being man handled furiously as he sees his sister undressing or whatever.

I have absolutely no desire to take a boob shot or to show off a vajazzle to a complete stranger whereas my oh might get a random text during the day. Like why would you think someone you've never even talked to gives a **** what your private parts look like?

It's the same reason I don't like being grabbed or touched by strangers on nights out. I am not a piece of meat. Have a bit of respect.

I mean for example if I'm walking down the street and some guy drops his kaks and flashes his dick at me, chances are I'd call the cops.
It's unwarranted, unsolicited and harassment. Why is it any different to do it online? I mean would you walk into a bar and flash yourself to attract a mate? Why is it ok to do online

I must respectfully disagree, generally I mean, not regarding yours specifically, which isn't to say that I think yours is...uh oh...help! ;)

... The answer to your question is contained in your post. Leaving aside questions of probity, the acts are very clearly not one and the same.

In my opinion it is. It's lewd, disrespectful, and really really weird to want to send a pic of your dick to a complete random stranger. Like is that what gives people a thrill in this day and age?
Omg a woman saw my cock

    Maybe, I don't know.

With all due you respect your opinion is not fact and seems to be ignoring the very substantial difference between being confronted in bodily form by an individual exposing themselves to you and receiving an alleged image of some strangers member.

I certainly know which of the two acts I'd prefer to be victim of.

@Lexie, when someone sends me saucy pics I don't think 'oh you must just think I'm a piece of meat' . I think they are interested in me from my face pic and profile. I rekon their just trying to impress me to get my attention. Your reaction is that they have no respect for you at all and are only after one thing etc.. I'm just asking the question why some women react that way , where for me it's just utterly trivial. Your perfectly entitled by the way not to be interested in saucy pics , no one is saying you should, but equally you come across as if your somehow morally superior to someone that is interested.

A femle friend of mine; a Psychologist in her late 20's is addicted to porn. She has porn apps on her phone and all.

This is such a weird thread. Read the whole thing. There's lads complaining that men are seen as sexual deviant and women are angels... but lads are also putting across the idea that women only watch romantic porn or else don't watch it at all. You're buying into the same old fashioned ideas of gender that you hate. I hate it too!

I watch porn, more so when I'm single. Most definitely not into the romantic stuff. That's not why anybody watches porn. One thing that immediately turns me off any video is fake breast implants that look like they're going to explode out of some poor girls chest. I hate them but some of my male friends who have obviously watched too much porn think that's attractive.

Lexie seems to be talking about getting these pics off random strangers. It's happened to few friends of mine over the years and it is pretty freaky to get that from a number you don't recognise. Snapchat's made it even more common. Very different from getting a pic from someone you're already texting or dating.

I'm an average looking girl, nothing special. So don't interperate this as me having a big head, or notions. It's not like that at all.
But, when I go out, on just a regular night out, I have no problem picking up guys (if that's what I was into), I'll be approached, I'll be talked to, I'll be asked for my number, I've had guys id just met get a taxi with me to make sure i got home safely. And again, not with the big head but I can attract smart, decent, good looking guys. It's not as if I scrape the barrel on a night out. I don't.

The nice guys will make an effort to talk to you, make conversation, offer to share his supermacs, ask for your number rather than ask for the ride. They're generally respectful and if I was single, that's the kind of guy id be into.

Am I flattered by some drunken eejit that looks like he got a smack of a bus trying to motorboat me? Or act like he's doing me a favour by asking to come home with me. Or when he'll try back me up against the wall trying to stick his manky tongue in my mouth. And it's always the same type of guys like that.

The below average looking ones, you can tell they have no experience with women. They act like you should be flattered they've shown you any interest.

A confident man with any social skills at all will know that not too many women are going to be overly impressed with his Penis splattered all across your screen. A confident man doesn't need that validation from strangers.

If it comes up in conversation and you decide to swap pics, that's a different story but I think the mistake men make is they assume women should be flattered.

Good lord, you don't have a god given right to harass people with your genitals. It's as simple as that. It's weird. Pretending someone is "morally superior" for not wanting to see randomers' dicks and finding it weird, is bizarre.

If a man I do not know exposes himself to me on the street, that's an offence.
Why is it different if a man I don't know sends me a photo of his cock?

    Seriously?

    Yep, seriously.

What's the difference? If the man on the street is a criminal, why should a stranger sending a pic be different??

Because in the street, it is possible to feel physically threatened. You don't seriously think the two acts should have the same punishment, do you?
