Ah here, McFadden has hurt Leinster and not the red.

An awful knock on half a metre from the try line.

They are two separate incidents? Should McFadden have lunged for the line like that? No. Should he have been carded? No.

Leinster can't seem to do anything useful when they are in possession.

Sloppy work once again by Leinster at ruck time, players not being supported and getting turned over.

    Straight in from the side

Surely if he puts his hands on the ground and then steals the ball he is off his feet?

    Dubal

    Leinster are crap so far.

I despair of Fitzgibbon, the number of times his anti Leinster bias has cost Leinster over the years. It would put me off going to any Leinster game he is reffing.

    McFadden back on

    No anti-Leinster bias. Just incompetence.

Jesus lads, wind is ****e. Ball getting blown everywhere. Throw to 2 ffs.

Edit: If Leinster are to win this, its because of the scrum

  • Registered Users Posts: 16,949 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Keep the ball in the scrum this time.

Leinster are like us last night, brainless

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,065 ✭✭✭✭Neil3030

That wind is going to be a nightmare in the 2nd half.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,177 ✭✭✭A-Train

Not a day for line outs

Clever by Patchell there. Boot it out on the full knowing the lineout is in shyte.

  • Registered Users Posts: 16,949 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

That throw wasn't straight on top of it not going 5 metres.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,075 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Ah Nugget, you can't do that!

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,604 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

What are we, one from four at line out

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,969 ✭✭✭leakyboots

I know it's a ferocious wind but Cronin has to be able to throw a ball a couple of metres

    Excellent defence from Cardiff.

    Great cross kicks from Madigan

Bad news. We are going to have to put up a lead of about 20 points before Cardiff get the wind in the second half.

No, ye don't. This is reminiscent of the Connacht game on New Years Day, Leinster couldn't build a lead with the wind in the first half but closed it out against the wind in the second. Those conditions can be almost as hard to play with as against.

What a kick by Madigan, that is brilliant. If Nacewa could have got that offload away...

Kearney has been decent so far.

    Jordi Murphy isn't an openside.

    Disgrace

I can actually feel myself falling out of love with rugby.

The yellow card in the Ireland France U20 match which was given with TMO approval: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=EVjfmUfmRpA

The no call on the Sexton and Kearney hits in Paris in front of the Ref and confirmed by the TMO.

    This card given to McFadden.

I understand referees are human and miss things in real time. What I don't get is how they go to a TMO and come up with these decisions. How do professional people look at these replays in slow motion and see something so different?

We're making it very easy for them though. Leinster players are nearly always stationary when receiving the ball.

Half time 6-3. Hardly enough. But we'll take it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,798 ✭✭✭LostArt

Pretty brainless display but the conditions are ridiculous. I'd be surprised if we score second half!

Kearney seeems decent. Thank goodness we have him.
