That's a very harsh penalty. It's not high and he tries to wrap.

Referee had his mind made up before he actually saw it. Was never high.

    Actually looked worse in real-time.

Actually on 2nd viewing he is hard done by there, looked like a good hit tried to wrap the arms! 50/50 at most.

Leinster should never have allowed them get up there

McFadden must be responsible for a fair portion of Leinster's disciplinary record this season.

Nothing in that FFS. Can see Ferg try to wrap the arms, Fitzgibbon......

It wasn't high and he attempted to wrap the arms. That is embarrassing officiating.

Very poor to let Cardiff make that break.

Poor decision from Ref. The player fell away from him, nothing in it.

be interesting to see the full incident after the tackle, looked like a cardiff player had his hand in the face of one of the leinster forwards

    Nightmare five minutes for McFadden.

Bad news. We are going to have to put up a lead of about 20 points before Cardiff get the wind in the second half.

    Not even a penalty

I said Fitzgibbon would hurt Leinster, lo and behold. Rubbish decision.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,147 ✭✭✭JPNelsforearm

    Fitzgibbon bottled it.

    Madigan :(

    Madigan not playing the conditions

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,158 ✭✭✭A-Train

Ffs Madigan keep it tight don't just fling the pass out!

Can't wait to hear what the posters who tell us McFadden is still a good player will have to see about this.......a forward pass that would not look out of place at under 8's and dropping the ball 2 feet out from the try line.

For what's it's worth, think the yellow was harsh but borderline tackles from McFadden are all too common!! He's really struggling these days.

Stupid by McFadden. Lead with his head. He basically head butted the guy instead of trying to tackle him with his arms. Fully deserved a yellow. Following on from his dropping of the ball over the try line. And this is a guy we will have in our 23 for Twickenham next week?

Cardiff are playing the conditions way better than Leinster.

What was Murphy doing in that clearout? Looked like he was trying to get Te'o off his man!
