Didn't get a photo but saw a debadged 3 series.......with the reg YYY CC 318

I know some just like the debadged look but if they we're hiding what they actually drive it was an epic fail.

SAAB and Rover (NI reg) are daily drivers, not sure about the Escort. Nice to see some older metal in daily use. SAAB and Escort were in Walkinstown, Rover in Strokestown. I had just been talking about Rover 800's a couple of days before with a mate and saying that they all disappeared when I saw that one; Practical Classics had a feature on them this month.

    Hurrican Spider. Great colour!

I saw an Aventador SV last week, along with loads of other exotica.

d'oh - just saw the rentbull name on the reg surround, my bad :o
Just checked the website - almost €5k for 2 days!!
The F360 was a mere €1200 for a day, or €200 for an hour.
The pedalo we got was cheap at €10/hr ;)

Very nice JDM DC2. They're getting to be a rare car to see in any colour, but a very rare bird(canary? :D) in yellow. Especially with the Yellow - exposure to air will cause staining - Recaro seats. When I was trawling Japanese auctions in the early to mid noughties when the DC2's were coming up regularly yellow(and silver) was very rare to see. Doubly rare to see with a yellow interior. Most original owners went for the black option, or sometimes red. More practical. I see it has a Mugen type 1 spoiler. I love them. Another rare as fook piece to find these days(and mad money). And the OEM bodykit extras and the wind deflectors. Niiiiice.

How much are DC2's like the one above going for these days?

clearing out the phone, recent spots from Bray/Greystones.
The Espace was in Mallorca, I hadn't seen this new version, the pics might not do it justice, but it looks very sleek, much lower roofline than previous models.
The Mustang is the smaller engine variety (2.3?) but the W220 is the full fat V12

The market will be flooded with cheap mustangs in a year or two. They're one of the worst I've ever seen for resale value. I mean here's one that's less than a year old at almost 50% depreciation http://www.carzone.ie/used-cars/ford/mustang/used-2015-152-ford-mustang-2-3-ecoboo-kildare-fpa-3162400027435371634 It's LHD but still. There's other up there with 15k off list and less than 1000km on the clock

In yellow? Good luck in finding one I'd say. There is one on Donedeal though it's been resprayed so not original. One of the very last of the model made to be fair(looking 7 grand for it).

Insurance price hikes and being nigh on impossible to insure for most killed the market stone dead for cars like this. Jap import/over ten years old/Honda/Subaru/Evo/R etc makes a broker's head explode. They don't have an owners club here IIRC so unlike some of the era can't get group discounts that way(or "classic" status).

With the result they're "cheap" here in Ireland. About the cheapest worldwide. Given how long some adverts remain up on donedeal etc I'd reckon 5 grand would source one. You'd need closer to 7 even 8 grand in the UK for example. Prices are picking up in Japan too. Again 7 to 8 grand when they come up.

Depending on condition and originality. A sure sign the early collectors are getting involved is originality is more and more sought after. Avoid go faster Halford's ricer boy racer crap. In the US the prices have gone mad. Like 40 grand mad for local market low milage original examples and even a basic so so one will cost 12-15 grand. They're on odd market though.

You should also check out how much original UK Supra TT's get in Nordic countries where grey imports are illegal. 40-50k...

They are all standard spec cars that are 55k new.

    Nope.

162 Demo model with 690m on the clock is over 60k. A 161 with 1200m on the clock is 9k cheaper. Neither of these are even new cars.

The 162 is an auto which is more expensive and in a higher VRT bracket

Spec up the cars side by side and the difference is 2k if even. I still hold the opinion that there'll be a lot of cheap mustangs in the years to come. And no matter how many of these () you put in your post it doesn't make you more right than me, it just makes you look childish and arrogant.

LHD is exactly why it's lost 1/3 of it's value, especially when the same car is readily available the correct configuration for here.

It also needs the vrt paid.

A LHD import from a private seller that needs to be VRT'd - are you joking  the Mustang will depreciate like any car in that segment, seems to be a market here for new ones and I'll bet that there'll be a market for used ones in a couple of years.

Looks better than the white one in Dublin but still don't like . No class - kahn wheels ? - prefer a fully loaded range rover - at least there's a bit of 4x4 heritage there .
