I was thinking exactly that. They had rust problems for sure, but so did every other make back then. Mechanically, I've never had a problem and I've had a 127,128, 124 and Mirafiori 1600T/C

Brother in law had a 1973 124 special T, Twin Cam, 95 BHP I think with all disc brakes and as far as I can recall, a strict entry in the instruction manual to change the timing belt every 24K miles, did this car also have separate brake drums for the handbrake?.

    1. Lancia Stratos HF
    2. Lancia Stratos HF
    3. Lancia Stratos HF
    4. Lancia Stratos HF
    5. Land Rover 109 Series 2A tow-truck

The first 4 would basically mean I had one working Lancia Stratos for about half the year and the land rover to reliably ferry the non working ones to/from the garage.

An early Seventies Cadillac Sedan De Ville with a seven or eight litre engine is properly impressive (possibly a bit more thirsty than a Toyota Prius tho). The frameless doors are great too, but some seemed to have some sort of high grade fabric. Leather is the only suitable material for seats in these sort of cars.

Yeah I quite like the big Cadillac barges myself, very imposing on the road!
