That's normal - we all normally scream into our headsets all the time, that's why the audio quality is so good.

Headset update: After tinkering with the settings a little, I've put them in the wheelie bin. I connected my paper cup to string in USB port 2 and the quality and sound output is much improved.

I think I have it working. I was previously using a one ear with mic headset that my housemate gave me. The Ps4 was configured for that so I did a quick swap of settings. I think I may have had the chat volume turned all the way down. Once I joined the lads last night I couldn't hear them, once I disconnected the USB connection and plugged in the old headset it was still on the settings for the USB headset and was decked altogether. Ran Oryx with mic outputting very low levels. Once we got back to the tower I tinkered with the chat volume and had that back on the new ones. Coild hear myself back in my head too which was very distracting. Do ye play with that on? I think I can turn it off with long presses of the mute button.

I am using setting 1 (not the Headset App setting 2 with any sort of Destiny seeing btw)

Mic Output at 50%

Use the Chat/Party button (operates as a slider) to achieve a 60% Party Chat 40% Game Volume balance

I have all music in Destiny muted so I can concentrate in PvP

That's all there is to it

Am I right in saying there is mic volume control in both the PS settings and in Destiny settings?
So there may be a conflict there.

@Petking could you hear me during doubles last night. The head set icon was on your gamer tag. I could only hear background noise from your side every so often.

Also, the Resident Evil 7 demo introduced a whole new level of "nope" in my life.

You walk and you pick up vermin

When you have the best vermin available, you level them up by feeding them other vermin who go conspicuously missing.

Then you sit on a big pile of vermin and don't ever get to attack anyone cause there's a bunch of 14 years olds after no-lifing the game and are so high levelled there's no point in fighting them

You also need to leave the house to participate

It's a bit **** but it's entreating for like a few hours if you like pokemon related thingies

Basically it's like Google maps - but with Pokémon...

The app is a version of Google maps, and as you walk around, the map updates in real time. There are Pokémon hidden all around and when you get close enough to one your phone vibrates and lets you try to catch that Pokémon.

Any landmarks around you are usually set as "Poké-stops" - if you walk close to a Poké-stop and tap the icon, you get free stuff.

Certain areas are designated as gyms, if you walk close enough to one - you can fight your strongest Pokémon against the gym champion.

I caught 4 rats and 2 pigeons today - It's a great app, amazing, I've never felt so alive!

Saw the ninja edit too. Last for Life. I did it earlier when listing my fav Uncharted games in a different thread. I put 3 as better than 4 then changed it so 4 was better than 3 then realised I felt the same about both and changed it again.


As if anyone cares what I think.
