Can anyone recommend a minibus company. I'm looking for someone to take 10 of us from Tralee to Killarney and back. I'm trying to organise a day at the races for a birthday in August.
    Cheers

I would also recommend Power Travel!

My husband was just driving along by Na Gael club & a bunch of kids threw a plastic bottle full of water at the car. He didn't know what it was at first & turned the car around to check. The little sh*ts ran off before he managed to get back there. He rang the Gardai, so hopefully they will catch up with them. He's lucky it didn't cause an accident, or that he didn't have the window open or it would probably have it him! I don't know what they think they are doing. So just be careful if driving in that area.

Unlikely the Garda will catch them, the force are generally very unfit. The youth of today are gone to fcuk.

Considering its taken them almost a week to take CCTV footage & a statement from staff in our business over an incident last weekend, I am not holding out any hope that they would have even sent a car up to see what was going on there!

Every generation says this about the next. Can't wait till its my turn to be able to say it.

    Hi,

I hope this is allowed... I'm looking for summer accommodation in Tralee; Is there anywhere anyone can recommend? I'm moving down for work but so far have been let down in my accommodation search!

Try Tralee Town Centre Apartments http://www.ttca.ie/
or An Sean Mhuileann http://www.anseanmhuileann.com/. They would do short term lettings. Its hard enough to find anything to rent at the moment, but they would be better for what you are looking for. And they are both in the town centre. An Sean Mhuileann has parking too.

Just a reminder for anyone going - the Darkness into Light walk is on tonight at 4, don't get your dates mixed up.

The Center Apartments are all booked up for the dates I need and An Sean Mhuileann haven't got back to my emails or calls but I'll try again on Monday! Thanks a lot!

You could chance the estate agents in town, see if they have any short lets. Most lettings would be at least 6 months, but you'd never know.

    Anyone here use Kerry Broadband?
My connection is gone terrible but they are saying that the 12mb package I'm on can vary from 0.5mb and that my connection is fine
I understand that all broadband connections are up to speeds but surely 0.5 to 2mb is not an acceptable speed

I was getting slow speeds before Xmas but then they did a bit of upgrading after Xmas and now its a steady 7 or 8 Mbps

It does drop at the weekends to about 4 or 5 Mbps but thats probably due to the traffic

I wouldn't mind that at all, it seems better today again though

I heard that the Irish Whale & Dolphin group are having a film presentation of humpback whale footage at 7pm tonight in the Sailing Clubhouse Bar. Entry is free and open to all.

I'm supposed to get 10 mbs . Most times I get 0.5 to 2. It's a joke . I've rang numerous times and they always say there's no issue. Roll on January when contract expires . Their customer service is useless

That's what I kinda found this last week but today it is better thankfully

Fairly tough story this morning on Radio Kerry,it was about a homeless man in a wheelchair who was sleeping rough on Banna Strand

Thankfully the story had a good ending and I think they have found shelter for him now.

Yes, there's a group trying to get it back up & running. I don't know if it will be done this year though, not sure.

I also see there's an article on it with TraleeToday http://traleetoday.ie/60281-2/

If they were opening an envelope tralee today would have an article on it. You just wouldn't be able to find the article hidden amongst the ads
