    Hi all ,

First off I'm not being completely lazy I did notice these previous threads

But some of the suggestions are unfortunately either too far away or more cardio "group" based or even only facilitating one on one session solutions.

I'm moving from Sandyford area and was probably spoilt having southside S&F within walking distance, I'd obviously love a similar set up but I can't really find anything comparable.
From just looking around what's close on google maps , there is a megaton of places that only seem to do specialised one on one training or group sessions. I have no need for any personalised type of training.

My needs are simple Benches / dumbbells / squat rack / rings ... anything more than that would be lovely but beggars can't be choosers.

I did notice http://phibsborogym.com/see-the-gym.php , hopefully some people can comment on if it'd suit me. They seem to have only one powercage from the photos along with the dumbbells seem to be rather small weighted ones. I'm not a giant but I'd at least want 50kg bells.

Location wise this would be ideal but again judging from photos http://www.activeyou.ie/index.php/gallery it might be more group based , from the photos I see one powercage ... So wondering what's it like to train there regarding wait times.

Anyway any help or even suggestions as to what my options around the area are would be lovely.

Yeah I saw them in another thread but they're a good 35 mins walk away ( suppose i could get a bike ) but the main issue judging from their website is that's its very much a one on one / semi private type of training.

Regency hotel gym, Hercules or Flyefit Macken are the only ones viable with those criteria even remotely close.

Not sure about the dumbbells at 50kg+ but you could also take a look at TCD gym and Crunch in Aston Quay?

Cheers for that , can't see much from their website but the mentality of the gym sounds like it'll be a good match. I'll have to go down and check it out !

Both look very promising , especially power gym and the pricing seems great.
