Was in Lidl earlier and person in front of me and 6 tins of biscuits in trolly and girl at checkout told her they are on special tomorrow. Will be some scramble for them tomorrow at that price!

Just back, 2 per customer, the shelves emptied quicker than the Dail when the bar opens......great value......

Just back from Terenure. Apart from one guy with 5 tins of each in his trolley and no refusal to sell by checkout operator, there was v little demand. On Display just inside main door but many more tins at back of store with the usual weekend savers.

I’m not sure why people are shocked when they have sold out never mind being angry :D

When they used to do the half price wine, it would be funny seeing all the
trolleys full of wine lined up waiting for 12.30 to happen.

I think there is a 6 bottle limit per customer when the half price wine deal is on and you could go in a second time for another 6 bottles but no way could you have a trolley full of wine

I imagine it will be like a formula 1 race with the safety car out.
    Store opens 9a.m.
Trolleys with the max 2 bottles circling until the green light at 12:30
