On a wildcard and have this so far, any opinions?

I'd pick Ward over Zouma, Zouma didn't even feature against Watford. Not sure on Yaya, although he has had 2 goals and an assist in his last 3 weeks, Walcott is a viable alternative. Tough decision to drop Ighaloo or Alli, Watford are solid at home, getting points off both Kane and Alli might be difficult.

A few of the more experienced players posted wildcard teams in another thread. On first glance, probably way too much spent on defence and keepers. I'd be looking to knock off 2-3 million of that defence. You may want to consider aguero and have a plan to bring him in if necessary, same with Sanchez. And yaya is a no go imo. But the makings of a good side are there

Does anyone think these are the right decisions? Tempted to transfer Ighalo in for Vardy for a -4 and not start Toby.

Struggling with who to pick for the Everton-Stoke game....

Have Barkaku and Butland and Woolscheid.....have Wooly on the bench at the minute assuming that Everton will score goals and have loads of shots on target that Butland will save.

Same for J.Ward over Kolarov and lack of attacking returns

Considering using Bench Boost because of the difficult decisions but I think I'll hold out for a DGW

Transfer banked. I thought about Vardy to Ighalo but I don't want to jump off the Vardez train too quickly. I had Vardy at the tail end of last season and he's a decent player so I think, and hope, he can keep up decent returns.

Still hard to pick which three from Moreno, Evans, Bellerin, Toby and Souare.

I think Souare is a cert. Moreno probably too. Bellerin seems the obvious third but 1 clean sheet in 6 and home to one of the better attacks currently??

Watfords mental attacking stats mean Toby my most certain bench.


In short. Pick 2 from Evans, Moreno and Bellerin...

Edit. Also could bench both Sterling and Alli and play 4 defs, but clean sheets could be scarce today....

Would advise against bench boost, there's gonna be rotation aplenty. I've a good bench too, but no.

I went other Way. Captain ozil vc kane and I'm starting palace defender over Dawson. Captain is a tough pick this week. Watford have good home record of clean sheets.

I have Hennessey in nets so thinking Dawson over Souaré. But it's definitely close. Could go either way.

And someone said Watford looked very tired towards the end against Chelsea so I'm hoping the extremely fit Poch's Spurs will be able to get passed them. after such short rests for both sides. But they have been solid at home so it's guess work really!

Plus I'm a Spurs man, so probably biased!

I don't think there will be as much rotation this year as in previous years. A lot of the bigger teams have a lot of injuries and the schedule is slightly less hectic than most years. It's usually Dec 26 Dec 28 Jan 1. This year the last round of games is Jan 2nd. I know it's only an extra day but it makes a difference.
