I guess we'll be rotating against Munster then

I was actually going to say that we probably should be going stronger against Connacht away than Munster at home, although I wonder whether there will be as much rotation as we are used to seeing at Christmas this year.

So I assume she reproaches you either for the size or either for the way you use it..:D

Pack weight is just one element among body positioning, conditioning etc. But it still matters, if not Blade and AhYou would swap their spots:p

In the spirit of Christmas I hope Ulster don't stuff Connacht too badly tomorrow. A standard stuffing will do, just nothing too embarrassing for the westies.

Haha good joke, tomorrow your lads won't even know where Belfast is, after the good-old Santa spanking they'll have! :)

Just stuck the head out there and it's absolutely perfect for rugby.....dry, no wind and a clear sky. Hopefully it stays like that for the evening!

Should have scored a try from that pressure.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,965 ✭✭✭connachta

TG4 have given the same pack-weights I gave yesterday, one kilo difference

Dopey from Matt Healy. Should have been a yellow. He clearly sees Trimble in front of him as he's jumping. He didn't try to compete for the ball once he got there. Not too many officials would have been so lenient on that one.

Very little difference between that and the infamous Payne incident.

    Yellow surely.

There was a world of difference. Including the fact that Healy jumped and trimble didn't land dangerously.

That is not a "world of difference"; that's hyperbole.

They both contested a high ball with a late arriving player taking the man out in the air. Both were late arriving, both took the opposition player out. Neither got anywhere near the ball.

The only differences were that Healy jumped but did so in just a token fashion with no effort to compete. He may as well have not though as he didn't get into the same postcode as the ball and went through Trimble's legs and his contact on the player was near identical. He never looked at the ball either when he was getting there. Should have been carded immediately for reckless play.

Epic defence from Connacht, flying into tackles.
