Really asummed I had no chance of getting strike force at this late stage.

Actually had a list of 10 people and only 3 (Dalton Castle, Gorgeous George and Al Snow) went off it. While not all were top draw names, at least 3 or 4 of them should be snapped up soon.

Chuffed with Santana and Martel and they fit my plans perfectly.

Gorgeous George was one of the names on my list after Strikeforce so lucky stuff there BH

Knew I couldn't risk waiting for him alright. He may have never been picked before last year but I feel I just highlighted him then and he is one of those character you could make so much larger than life.

Getting Strike force at this late stage really is a coup though, you could be sure if they were around today they would have been taken a long time ago.

Will be interesting to see if anyone takes advantage of the potential rule bending options or if people have a plan and stick to it at this late stage.

+1, theres a rack load great names available, Esp with so many debuting picks such as Gable, Jordan, Apollo Crews, Luther Ward.....etc theres loads of fantastic names still out there.

Though I will say not as many females have been picked this year as have been in previous years.

I think there are more strong womens divisions this time but maybe not as many females overall have been taken. Still though maybe the last round might see some more get taken if people have already gotten everyone they need for feuds / places on their PPV card even if its to have in a manager / Valet type role.

Actually think R-Truth is really good value at this stage too. could be really good fun to write for, conspiracies, smoking bandit, little Jimmy etc type of fun

Ive drafted 5 females, more than ive ever drafted in total before (though I did have 2 strong and in the end influential females in both my previous efforts)f

I haven't drafted any females yet because by the time my 2 main feuds were tied up a lot of the ones I wanted were gone. I also wasn't willing to draft non-tag females simply because it would require too many picks (for me) to build a decent division. There's a few I'm still considering mind, and with me having #19 this round & #1 in the last there might be a bit of scope for a good grab.

What is everyone's opinion about the sweet spot in terms of feuds and matches for the PPV?

I'm on five solid matches atm and am wondering will I add a sixth which wouldn't have a massive buildup.

ive 8 which is IMO a lot,

I usually have 7

4 title matches (IC, Womens, tag and world) and 4 others

I think I would also usually have 7 but this year I have 8 in mind. That said we will have a little bigger rosters this year and when you think about it Mania is 4 hours these days, Wrestlekingdom even longer and pre-shows have become a big thing.

For instance I may have 7 matches on my main card and one big pre-show main event then give Barry Horowitz a match on the pre show too

Of course if I have more matches the lower card matches won't have as much of an in depth write up as the main event ones

This will be my first time doing this. I choose not to do a weekly show just ppvs. How does it work ???. Is it 3 ppvs and then ur wrestlemania??.

Going to have my creative meeting 2morrow or next week lol.

Well people can do a preview post and then if they are doing weekly shows they can do up to 5 (1 for each round after the evaluation thread opened) plus their big PPV.

You obviously do not have to do that many though.

So if you wanted to you could do a preview post (again optional) and all the big PPVs of the year building to your Mania. For example (following the typical WWF format) Summerslam, KOTR, Survivor Series, The Rumble & No Way out is probably what id do so as to build to your Mania.

Obviously again you don't have to do so many, only your big PPV to showcase your roster is a must.
