I would advise stay away from fusion. Found them to be a ****e round. Always had running deer when I took chest shots wit them even though the hits were spot on. Know a few lads using different types of hornady bullets and all them find them very good. Never used fiocchi so I can't comment. I use sako bullets myself at the minute and can't fault them

    What distances are you shooting?

My rifle prefers sst's and superformance, but digests the interlocks just as well.

    For 30 cal, my: 30-06 likes 180gr but the 308, prefers 165gr.

Out of the lot, I would go with the Hornady. If you are shooting inside of 300ya, 150gr will be more than accurate for a deer sized target.

Im zeroing in. Tried hornady superformance. Wouldnt group at all. Tried cheap umc remi and they zeroed after a few shots easy.

Got a few rounds of a mate and stopped using it for the very reasons richiedel123 described. It's also why i stay with ballistic tipped ammo as most soft nose stuff will mushroom and pass on through the animal even something as big as a deer.

At €42+ per box it's not cheap and frankly their a terrible round and from both Hornady and a country that is lawsuit friendly i'm surprised at Hornady letting them be sold as they are. Most rounds have the stated speed on the box. Hornady have their SST stuff in .308 (150 gr) at around 2,900 (IIRC). The Chrono says this is the average, high, speed. However Superformance is marketed as 3,000fps, but through testing nearly 20 rounds with a chrono at 100 yards the average is 3,181 with highs of 3,208.

To put that into perspective, i reload for F-Class. We use ..308 handloaded ammo that can run hot and fast to give the best out of the bullet at long distances. I would struggle to make my 155 gr bullets reach 3,200fps let alone surpass it. Even then i would not consider giving my ammo to another F-Class shooter but by selling the Superformance this is exactly what Hornady are doing. I know different propellants can provide higher speeds, but usually with higher pressures and at the figures i'm getting they are on the verge of unsafe.

They are the only rounds i've had stiff bolt lifts and primer cratering with. For factory ammo it's shocking it's sold as it is. Also it's just not that good. It pisses through any animal it's shot at so i stopped using it for game. Any more than 2 shots and it'll climb and drop without any sort of predictability. Meaning groups are impossible to predict and most importantly you don't know if the first shot will be on or not.

What rifle have you? What twist rate more importantly? If it likes 150 gr then you can go 155 without any issues. For plinking and having some fun you can stick with the cheapeer stuff such as Fiocchi, American Eagle, etc. For hunting it's a case of going for a better class of hunting round that is, preferably, ballistic tipped. Then it's all down to shot placement.

Brother has a .308 and has used the Fiocchi rounds which come loaded with the Hornady SST heads for the last 2 seasons. Working well for him.

    Tikka t3 hunter. 20" barrel. 1:11 twist

The 1:11 twist is ideal for 155 up to 175 gr bullets. This really is only important the further out you go as the Tikka will pack them in, regardless of bullet weight, at anything from 150 yards down to point blank.

Have you tried many different types of rounds in her?
