Okay Santa I've seen the toy show and I've decided what I want for Christmas.

    Emma O'Driscoll and a surprise.

I didn't notice Tubridy was singing MacArthur Park.
    Always a choice karaoke song...

Oh will you play some background music ffs, at least try to give the thing some immediacy and pace
*disclaimer: This post may not be in the spirit of Christmas*

I heard them say on the radio this morning that the show took SEVEN weeks of preparation. And if anybody saw the interview with AP McCoy last week, it's obvious that preparation for everything else gets put on the back boiler while Tubridy tries on different Christmas jumpers and practices locking arms with the Billie Barry kids. Is this show really worth all the resources that RTE put into it, especially given that it's to the detriment to every other show in between?
A show on RTE ONE now with every RTE staff member saying what a great lad Tubridy is with the kids. And the narration is done by Nicky Byrne just to give it the appropriate amount of class it deserves.

Might be of interest to some people though.
Ah yes my favourite Christmas musical, Beauty And The Beast.
Tubridy breathing heavily after dancing around for a couple of minutes. It wouldnt have taken anything out of D'Arcy. just saying.
Big mistake again this year to not have any background. I mean, am I the only one that heard the big change from loads of noise to complete pin-drop silence. Why dont they just play some Christmas tunes in the background. ?????
Oh will you play some background music ffs, at least try to give the thing some immediacy and pace
I'd say you're some craic on a night out.

I'd say my youngest one is about 2 packets of love hearts away from vomiting on the couch.

Did they need to send Emma there? How much did that cost?
I'd say the Travel Company for paid her.

Those swimming togs were not very flattering on Emma. Like in Brooklyn when Saioirse Ronan is wearing glamorous American ones and the poor Irish girl is in a big lumpy dumpy swimming costume.

I remember in years gone by (long long time ago in a land far away), they would have some toys made by prisoners in Mountjoy and other prisons.

Given Ray D'arcy's inability to push the right buttons, if he was presenting tonight Bumblebee would be showering the audience with bullets.
