I need a few myself. Good hints appreciated or at this point I'd take flat out answers too :v

    21. 3 A
    53. 3A

Are these two related? I don't like the Steve-Martin related train of thought as yes, agree it should be "The 3 A"

    56. C44

Tell me it's not the Bruce Willis' fully forgotten flop of a film from a few years back? I don't like it in general, also feel like it would be "C .44" if it were.

And has anyone got something better than Half-hearted?

    60: this T W S-D in 5S
    63 1/2 the WA by O
    66 B R N 16, D A to B

    2, 28, 31, 55, 57, 63 - song titles
    27, 37 - movie titles

    9: G on a L1, C in 18 to 1 - lyrics
    32: a 1 H W - a music related expression
    44: B9-9 - television show
    49: J1 C, G it to M - an old advert jingle.
58:C na 3 M - this is hard to give a clue for without giving it away. It's an Irish song / lament title.
    60: this T W S-D in 5S - very specific movie/tv line. Think Tom Cruise.
    66 B R N 16, D A to B - Planes, Trains & Automobiles.

And not sure if the previous posters got their answers. Some clues here:

    48. F F 5 thy F L
Shakespeare will set you right here. Cross-referencing with Jackson Pollock will get it solved.

    52. 9 C in U
    Geographical.

    For 56 think perfume

    21 3A
    53 3 A

I've come up with 2 so far both of which would need "The" in front of them - the first is the Steve Martin one the second a venue in Dublin

On closer inspection, there is no 'The' in the Steve Martin one :) And I reckon the venue fits just about right too.

After a brief google I still don't get the perfume. I did find a better fitting film title for C 44 though, came out in 2015 for a start.

I don't think that number 56 is right by what people are saying here because the film title would be shortened to 'C .44' not 'C 44'.

  • Registered Users Posts: 116 ✭✭cheater

Anyone any more thoughts on number 9 of the 1 E of the C in the Diffney Hollybough quiz?

Anymore suggestions apart from 1 Eye of the Cyclops?
