Biological, chemical or atomic would be a big concern!

they are willing to die for their cause, so if they were able to get their hands on chemicals, etc ... I fear it isn't their morals that will stop them from using them in densely populated areas ... they will denonate anything, anywhere ... they start out on their journeys knowing they wont be coming home ... so they will try take as many people with them as they can ...

This CAN NOT be handled as ordinary warfare ... I dont know how this should be handled but when they hate everything you stand for ... where do you start in attemting to put an end to this other than cutting off the money and going after their power structure? Bullets, guns, cars, fake passports, explosives ... they all cost money, even the most scrupulous arms dealer will need paying... so go after THE MONEY ... oh and bomb known ISIS locations

I just watched a report on the BBC there from Sinjar which has just been liberated by the Kurds.

They found a mass grave with the bodies of up to 80 Yazidi women. According to local reports when they refused to convert to Islam they were divided into old and young. The young were taken away to probably become sex slaves, the older women got a bullet in the head.

    Ever been to Kilburn?

That place that's mostly full of Afro-Caribbeans, Indians and Pakistanis?

Yes, I have. You won't find a lot of Irish people there though. They integrated and moved on a generation ago.

You have to hand it to the Americans they at least do security a hell of a lot better than the Europeans; I can't see Islamic State pulling off anything over there, unless they manage to float across enmasse across the Atlantic into North America like they are currently doing with the invasion of Greece.

True, Saudi Arabia wont take any refugees but have offered to build 200 mosques in Germany, they are very happy to see muslim immigration into Europe.

And to IS this will be done in the name of Allah the all merciful. They are simply a version of an Islamic Khmer Rouge.

I think everyone should calm down a little bit with the talk of nuking Syria or indeed Saudi for this, I think that could be a slight over reaction. Thankfully I think that France has more sense.

I saw that. The Nazi's used the same tactics when the Jews arrived at the concentration camps, divided them into two groups, useful and not useful. We should be giving Daesh the same treatment that the Nazi's got.

No, I have relatives there and they have somehow maintained an almost separate life there, have Irish friends, go to Irish pubs & shops and seldom have any contact with the "other locals" including the English. They're nearer to Harrow though.

It was still an Irish Ghetto up until the late 1980s.
Went there for a gig in the National one time and thought I had accidentally ended up in Longford.

Besides the original question wasn't are there currently any non-Muslim ghettos - the question was do non-Muslims create ghettos and the answer is yes/

Sure - bomb Mecca and wait and see what the Saudi's will do with all the weapons the West sold them.

    Bye Bye the Vatican perhaps.

US security can't seem to prevent high school students going on killing rampages or police officers from shooting innocent people but you expect them to be able to stop determined trained suicide bombers?

Do you think IS don't already have people in the U.S?

    Really?

The Saudis couldn't lace their own shoes, if it wasn't for millions of Indian and Filipino slaves in that country they'd barely survive. We are facing another World War soon and it will not be war against Islamic State but a war against Islam itself fought on multiple fronts which will also involve Russia and China, a war between Western Civilisation & Democracy against Islam, Dictatorship and Sharia.

Capturing the Oil supplies within Saudi Arabia will be the driving factor for the corporate puppet masters, the decline of Dollar Hegemony and bankruptcy of America and rise of China plus Russias rebuilding will all play their part. The global PTB and Military Industrial Complex demand war, the world of today and of twenty years time will be dramatically different.

This makes no sense. How does a communist party that was obsessed with self sufficiency using large scale agricultural policies (e.g. collective farms) compare to IS? I know it committed genocide on it's own people while imposing a purely agrarian society but there was no religious element whatsoever. In fact I believe they banned all religions.

So whose going to be fighting on the Western side given your statement that the USA will be bankrupt? Britain can barely muster a platoon these days and as for France....

    This is disgusting to hear.

In my opinion airstrikes are not enough. We can never defeat them with Airstrikes unless we literally level the place, which is not an option. Boots on the ground would help but only until we pull out again and they will come back 10 times stronger.

The only solution I can see is to pull out of the middle east completley and close all boders and ban all middle east and Islamic immigration. Boycotte it and blocade it the way we boycotted the Soviet Union. Let them sort it out between themselves and don't get involved. leave them to rot in the desert and refuse to buy their oil or gas. We can get all of that from Russia and the USA.

I still say we need to adopt measures that will deal with a likely invasion from Jihadists. A national strategy for such an emergency must be put in place. Use the Dail, Dublin Castle and the Phoenix Park as evacuation locations. Coordinate with Christian, Muslim and Jewish leaders to get the word out to the general public. Batten down the hatches, put up the barricades and get the guns on standby pointing towards the enemy.

Again I must ask why liberals like yourself argue semantics rather than the actual view being put forward?

It's because they know that they're wrong but their ideology won't allow them to accept it. The cognitive dissonance in their minds must be immense.

They're not very representative of the Irish migrant experience though are they?
Largely the Irish have moved on and integrated. Where are the ever expanding Irish Ghettos today? Are they permanent fixtures? Are they clashing with the local culture?

Listening to mainstream media's commentary on these terrorist attacks is just inane.

"These senseless attacks..." "Why do they do this?" etc. etc.

It's not unclear why they do this bullshyt and they openly say it

Syria has been destroyed by the West. Iraq, too. The West supported elements that morphed into ISIS and created the conditions for it to prosper. You won't live in peace when destroying entire societies... there will be blowback. Chaos travels.
