I think the ps3 is boll**** (red light of death). :(:( It's more sentimental value than anything, belonged to my brother. I can just imagine my mother going mental and saying it's my fault. Best to keep it quiet for now. ha Shame there's no backwards compatibility on the ps4.

Me too. Every time that I lie down, my nose blocks up and I can't breathe. Hate this feeling. Get better soon :)

The regarding of Dave Grohl as some Rock idol. Everything he does either rocks, is hilarious, hits the nail on the head, or is just a breath of fresh air.

I love the stuff he did in his younger days (Nirvana & early Foos), but I think he's a fraud these days. He likes to think he's Lemmy, but he is more like Robbie Williams with long hair in reality.

Iffy try-hard-to-sound-heavy vocals, average riffs, boring lyrics.

I'm sitting here watching QVC because I can't sleep.
I'm so ill; I'm feeling very sorry for myself.

It all started Friday night when suddenly my muscles started aching.
By Saturday morning, I felt like I'd been beaten up. My legs ached the most and I took to the bed, trembling in pain.

I had a hacking, non-productive cough which shook my whole body, I had a fever, my neck hurt, I had a cold...I basically spent all of Saturday and Sunday in bed.

Now, this morning, my ribs are absolutely killing me from all the coughing and when I need to cough, I have to hold myself.
I'm annoyed at how long this is lasting, but on the upside, I haven't had a cigarette since Saturday morning.

I'm not tempted to have one either and I'm hoping that feeling stays because I'd quite like to stay off them and this is the longest I've stayed off them.
Even when I've been sick before, I'd still smoke, but I really don't fancy one.

    5.50 and can't sleep.
I take medication for depression and it's manageable for the most part.... But sleep deprivation exacerbates the symptoms massively.
I'm lying here and all my effort is to not cry rather than relax and fall asleep... It feels like it's almost physically coming from inside my chest.

Can't sleep. Pains everywhere. Came down for cornflakes and cup of tea and painkillers. It may give momentary relief.
There are many people out there under terrible circumstances. I was walking down a street recently early in the morning when it was raining to get into my car and I saw a blind woman begging on the side of the street. It upset me greatly and I kept thinking of her throughout the day. Kept thinking about her life and the ones she loves but will never see.

I know it's annoying, but be grateful he made the dinner!

Carefully remove said yorkshire pud from your plate to his. With thanks.

Cranberry sauce is indeed a sugary thing like jam. I don't get it either.

But each to their own and all that.

Ah yea, we don't take it serious or anything but I can only conclude that he does it intentially since I've been so vocal about my dislike for the things. He's on some mission to get me to like them because he does :)

Next time he puts said yorkshire pud on my plate, I'm going to pick it up, spread it with his beloved cranberry sauce and fling it across the table at him :):p ah no only joking Spanish Eyes, I'm far too nice a girl for that carry on ;)

You're not alone. When I got home from work I fell asleep on the couch and when I did go to bed I was awake reading until 2. Sleep patterns are completely f*(ked up after 2 weeks off work.

Ran into one of my senior managers yesterday who was asking me if I was interested in applying for a new promotion opportunity...and had to keep blinking to stay awake while talking to them. :o (had to explain that I was tired!!!)

Also learnt never to create new content on the website while half asleep.... :o

    Is everybody sick?

I'm so close to death (possible exaggeration) but I can't call in sick because my boss is on leave so I am doing her job, plus I have applied for a job above her level and waiting to be called for interview so my sick leave record has to be squeaky clean :( Snorting and sniffling all over the place.

Was so tired in work yesterday so I made sure to stay awake when I got home so I'd still be tired later and went to bed at half 11 to read for a little while. Couldn't get to sleep for ages and then woke up at half six when I heard someone else getting up. Couldn't go back to sleep because I needed to pee then! Broken sleep two nights in a row and being a ridiculously light sleeper is my TA right now

I'm an unbelievably light sleeper, a mouse once farted three streets away and it woke me up :(

Two luases arrivied within 20 seconds of each other as I approached the station..... missed them both and the next one was not for nine minutes. Sat down to eat my omelette on toast that dad had wrapped in aluminium foil for me... and some gobshíte sat right beside me despite the fact that the entire platform was empty. I was in such a bad mood I didn't care how it seemed when I looked at him, wrapped up my breakfast and went and sat somewhere else to eat it.

Woman sat right in front of me on the luas even though there were loads of other seats free and for a second I felt really self-conscious because I needed to blow my nose discreetly. Eventually I thought ah fúck her anyway and sent her into the middle of next week with a good old honk. :o

Fell over the Christmas tree yesterday, and today my very recently stuck back together pelvis is killing me. I've a huge spreadsheet to put together for work and I can't sit still for longer than 15 mins without everything seizing up.

Every time I leave the spreadsheet to hop around for a while I forget where I am with it and have to start again.

Im the complete opposite of this,Id sleep through anything but live with someone who hears the grass growing.I can sleep anywhere, lights on or off doesnt bother me much, couldnt care less if the curtains are shut tight, can drink coffee all day and night and still go into a coma for the night.

Saying all that my sleep patterns are shocking at the moment, cant go to bed before 1 or 2am and Im the worse morning person Ive ever met,I actually frighten myself with my morning rants, threatening to pack in work most mornings, begging God for the lotto win and yet I never take a sick day but come very close every single morning.:(

I don't know if it is possible, but do you have a shelf that's at chest level - if so and you are working on a laptop, put it up there so you can work without crouching over?

On the sickness front, as an employer, I'd prefer if staff stayed at home (once they don't take the proverbial) when sick. Lessens the chance of others coming down with the same dose..

As for my annoyance, I guess its more than trivial at this stage but would the rain ever let up for even a couple of days. Its getting proper depressing now :(

I have Celebrations/Roses/Quality Street/Mince Pie withdrawals at the moment. I'd even eat one of the green triange Quality Streets at this stage.
